Oct 20, 2018 Idk what dude it talking about but this movie is great, I enjoyed it and even more so after I have had time to reflect on it. Probably my favorite sequel
Oct 20, 2018 think u press the plus sign button on the editor or whatever n theres a spoiler thing Edt: Yup dere is
Oct 20, 2018 I feel like i could still rip this movie a f---in part lmfao @M Solo reading your s--- got me as heated as i was my first viewing of it loool
Oct 20, 2018 It was OK. Some cool parts and some really dumb parts. Wasn't blown away but wasn't super disappointed either.
Oct 20, 2018 Just got out of the cinema. a few thoughts SPOILERS ALERT Spoiler really not keen on how much of michaels face was shown early on. The whole mystique of Michael and what made him so scary originally was the fact you didnt know what was under the mask. That’s why I hated the rob zombie films. He “over humanised” Michael too much. Another thing, what was the whole “creepy psychiatrist” side story all about? Seemed like it was just there for filler and was pretty pointless imo. Score was amazing, but the film was a little too “action packed” for me. Trap doors, secret basements filled with numerous guns? Meh. I did however love the scene where Laurie disappears after being thrown out the window, and a couple of the kills were nice. Need another watch to really decide where it ranks overall.

Oct 20, 2018 Spoiler I don't know where to begin but I will vent real quick and see if I'm alone on some of my gripes. Positives- As far as what I did like I actually think the only thing I liked was the mask. Negatives -I really didn't like it from the opening scene but I was trying to like it or find reasons to but the moment that psychologist twist happened??? f--- me. I was done. And then he puts on the mask That whole side plot made the Thorn Cult bs sound like a good idea. Who okayed that!?!? - My next problem was Michael Myers. He wasn't Michael Myers he was Jason Voorhees in a Myers mask. - It didn't feel like Halloween -. It didn't feel like Haddonfield. -Awful acting from Laurie's entire redneck family outside of maybe her Granddaughter. f--- that girl's doofus friends, too. While we're at it why even have her boyfriend in the film just for him to disappear. I'llpost more problems/thoughts when I think of them but ugh. Just a really bad f---ing movie.-
Oct 20, 2018 @M Solo its funny because it feeling like halloween is one of the few things i thought they did right lmao
Oct 20, 2018 Spoiler: Bruh i deadass almost walked out when the doctor put on the mask, i felt like i had been in some lucid dream where i thought it was 2018 and i was going to see halloween but i had infact been in the late 2000's watching a rob zombie halloween. I was f---ing heated, i only stayed because i wanted to see if they had infact spoiled the ending in the trailer with the flair, i knew he was burning alive because of the tracklist but had also already had an inkling because its technically the new halloween 2 and hollywood isnt very clever. And i think movie proved that, let that s--- rest, hopefully in 20 years somebody competent who ACTUALLY loved the original can make a myers movie on the level of the 1978 movie.
Oct 20, 2018 I take that back. Halloween night was kind of great. Rushed maybe? Something was off. As for the part you talked about in your spoiler post I told my girlfriend "Let's f---ing leave" at that exact part but my girlfriend said something along the lines of "we've already been here for an hour and a half we can wait another 20 minutes"
Oct 20, 2018 If the movie doesn't feel like Halloween or Haddonfield its kinda over for me That is essential
Oct 20, 2018 Spoiler: M solo Felt it was rushed aswell But some of it was f---ing nice honestly The k--- where u see him walking between the houses as a shadow after he sees some b---- through the window then walks up behind her and does the job... i felt that was one of the best kills in the entire film, it felt like the only castle-esque walk in the movie and the framing of the shot was something you'd see from somebody like dean cundey. The car k--- was okay it was a nice homage but it wasnt anything special But i cant tell you how f---ing happy i was he f---ing killed that kid at the beginning, f--- yes. Thats michael myers, evil dont give a s--- if your 5, a dog, your friends' uncle, if you're in the way, you're as good as gone. A big chunk of the editing was poor. I seen it coming after the preview where jamies standing with her back against the door and we get three camera cuts that felt like a d--- eminem music video trying to promote a shotgun instead of a beats pill. I think you said it or someone else. s--- felt like an action flixk in alot of parts... and thats not halloween. Halloween is suspense. I could talk about this movies good suspense moments n bad ones etc but this post already gonna be long as s---. But these arent just gripes to gripe either. That f---er david green went out there talking about how much he loved this franchise, how much he loved that movie, and that their focus was really bringing the original film to the new generation of films... Into the 21st century and it seems by that he meant spawning another chain of blumhouse sequels and nothing more. Anyway, the mask was f---ing sick, im actually getting one of the movie mold TOTS masks repainted as i type this, it felt frankensteinish if that makes sense. As if hes been immortalized finally. Thats him 40 years later... the mask ugh.. The mask may be one of the big reasons i even LIKE the movie. g.d. did nelson mabry n whoever else had hands on that project f---ing knock it out of the park.
Oct 20, 2018 Spoiler Best part was when he was going in and out of random houses in the neighborhood and killing at will (the hammer, then the lady who gets stabbed in the throat from behind) They should have just left Laurie out of it and that dumbass doctor. I liked that there was less security since most people didn't realize the threat Michael poses. It made it feel more real. I wish the movie was just him rampaging from house to house. That idea is absolutely terrifying... But they had to make it about Laurie and her boring family. Was ok though. I really hated 4-6 and Resurrection, so in comparison, I wasn't as disappointed. However, I was really intrigued when Michael was going house to house and just roaming the streets. From when the car hit him, onwards, the film lost me.
Oct 20, 2018 Just finished the movie. I thought it was OK. Spoiler I thought it was way too up front about Michael (did we really need a camera following him and showing his face??) and there was just an overall complete lack of suspense. Michael goes here. He kills these people. He goes and gets his mask. We watch him put it on. It's Michael everybody! And he's got his mask! In act one! That's him! Does anyone else get what I'm saying? It wasn't bad imo but it was off
Oct 20, 2018 Also I loved Spoiler A lot of the callbacks and references to the franchise. It wasn't overdone
