Jul 19, 2020 I don't think The Lighthouse is a traditional horror movie but it is billed as one. I really liked it, wasn't scary but atmospheric and creepy. Worth the watch if you're into character driven movies.
Jul 19, 2020 'As above so below' is one of my faves. 'Grave Encounters' is quite corny but it manages to scare me everytime. 'Summer of 84' is somewhataa remake of 'Disburbia' but I prefer it. 'The House That Jack Built' was brilliant yet leans more towards thriller. I've also heard great things about 'You Should Have Left' but haven't seen it yet. Non movies, American Horror Story 1984 and Dark.
Jul 30, 2020 The ju-on: origins show on Netflix is f---ing great. Never thought I’d say that to anything ju-on related tbh
Jul 30, 2020 Yes! Watch it! Out of all the Japanese remake s---, this is actually refreshing and original. Disturbing too
Jul 30, 2020 Also, I kinda like the OG grudge movie (american) but it didn't help that it was so similar -as in, japan horror- to the ring which was 10x better. Top 10 horror movies?? U really need to be welcomed itt bro
Jul 30, 2020 I recommend a couple of films if you haven't seen them yet The Taking of Deborah Logan The Devil's Doorway
Jul 30, 2020 the only American-Japanese movies I enjoyed were shutter and the uninvited thanks for the warm welcome! Here’s my top ten in no particular order: Nightmare on elm street 1 and 3 The Strangers IT (OG bc I grew up with it) Inside (French og) High Tension (French og) Evil Dead 1 & 2 (Sam Raimi is amazing) Sleepaway Camp 1 Rec 2 The Descent Pieces The Prowler I gave you 11. I could keep going but I’m stoned and that’s the top of my head tried thinking of older movies bc I didn’t wanna give too many current films
Jul 30, 2020 Ofc! lmk what you think of the list when you do. annnnnd I must say, Elizabeth moss is currently owning the horror market. She has a lot of films lined up, plus invisible man was great. She did all that s--- herself too which is nuts
