No problem man, it's cool that you like the song too! That was actually the first full Mike Posner song I've ever heard, that was a kinda special listen for me :D

For how long have you been a Mike Posner fan/listening to him?

i started at 31 minutes to takeoff, but have paid attention to his small releases and youtubes ever since. thought 31 minutes was a decent album at the time, but some of it was forced and seemed to be made specifically for the radio plays... was a good breakout album, but was apparent that that wasn't posner's true style, if that makes sense?

    To be honest, just recently.

I heard 'Cooler than Me' and I thought it was kind of corny, but catchy.

After that I heard 'I Took a Pill in Ibiza' and I was like hey I know this guy. It sounded good to me. But then I paid attention to the lyrics, which were great. A very good song about his failed career, 'a pop song people forgot', acting cool to fit in etc. Brilliant song.

Then I heard Buried in Detroit which is basically the same song (not the lyrics, but flow etc). I loved the country vibe it had and the Big Sean verse too. So I decided to check out the album and google the guy.

Hearing 'One h--- of a Song' after reading how many big hits he written >
'Jade' chorus, the country vibe >

Almost every song sounds great and the 2nd part, the remixes, make it even better imo. So yeah, this album made me a fan. How about you?
