After that interview Joe Rogan said he didn't believe she was sincere in her beliefs and was just playing a character for money.

Stripping incentives to prescribe addictive meds and taking control away from corrupt pharmaceutical companies is a great idea. We should absolutely get rid of our current healthcare system and create an entirely new one that allows everyone to get the care they need for cheap/free.

Yes exactly, im agreeing. That was my exact thought process, not to agitated the officers both times. I didn't think twice, it was instinct to simply comply. No matter how much I hated it and scared I was, I was not getting out of going to jail. Getting this hostile Police officer to put his gun away is all that mattered at that point. All it took was following a simple order. I get sometimes it could still go wrong but those odds aren't as high as some are making it out to be. Cops are scared too most of the time.

Yeah... a close to... not quite genius wanted to be a cop and he was denied the job on the basis of being too smart. He sued the whole system and the courts decided in favor of smart people being systematically discriminated against for employment as police officers.

She was on the force for 26 years. Pretty sure she had 1,000s of hours of training at that point.

Yeah, he would also be alive if his mom paid for her tags imo. Also might still be alive if the pig didn't s---t him point blank for hopping back in his car. Any other incredible insights on this matter?

This is video of Oscar Grant being executed on the BART train in Oakland... the cop also swore he confused his gun for his taser.

I have empathy for someone who was pulled over because he had an air freshener on his mirror (being black) and had warrants because he was caught smoking a plant (something white people almost never get punished for) years ago.

I have empathy for him because I know those cops were so excited to have the chance to hurt a black dude, one forgot her left hand for her right hand and killed him... even though she only meant to torture him a little bit.

You know... like when Chauvin was only trying to torture a black guy a little bit... but he was too stupid to not k--- Floyd.

So, I don't know Daunte Wright personally... but I do have empathy for him.

I live my life right and I don't side with state paid racist murderers... the stage I am always at

Me just not being a racist is doing something.

You're the p---- racist that helps keep this s--- going.

I don't appreciate this slander. This is obviously very sad and my heart goes out to the victim and his family.

this is a whole lot of nothing... certainly not the sort of "meaningful consequences" that drastic reduction in size and funding would be. case in point: police & sheriff's departments in many jurisdictions actually seek legislation establishing civilian oversight committees, because it's great optics despite the fact that those bodies are traditionally more forgiving in use-of-force cases than law enforcement bodies themselves. and depts similarly love to make a big deal out of new guidelines or regulations for use of force––so what? many of the actions that result in civilian deaths are against regulation. they k--- ppl and it's like "well, what do you want us to do? he feared for his life."

to be clear i'm not really knocking md dems here––measures like this are sort of all you can do in a state leg level without really transforming things at the city level (or having very sweeping federal regs about what a police force can/cannot be)
