Yea, Eaton did say something first, but probably because Ventura was the one that seemed all aggressive towards him just because of that comebacker.

nah I read Eaton thought it was a quick pitch. He wasn't ready in the box and Ventura pitched it so he yelled at him and that's when Ventura said f--- You like a tough guy and immediately backed up when Eaton started walking towards him

I'm not sure if Eaton screamed at him because of the quick pitch(I know that's what a lot of analysts think but they've been wrong before) or if it was because of Ventura's body language, either way, it seemed kind of ridiculous. Still, the Royals need to chill out, especially Ventura. Dude is a walking disaster.

That doesn't tell me anything I don't know already. Eaton said something first and blah blah blah, s--- went down. But the whole quick pitch idea seems like reaching, especially since it wasn't all that quick. I've seen actual quick pitches and that didn't seem like one at all. But look at Ventura's body language in that video. Over-zealous much?

Harold could be full of s---. Wouldn't be the first time.

I'm not arguing Ventura's a c--------- and thinks that batters control where they hit the ball when it comes back at him. Just saying Eaton said something first thinking it was a quick pitch, which was border line. Venturas a young insecure kid....and as most Venturas, you probably don't want to get in a fight

I agree that the royals are hotheaded rght now, but this whole season so far has been like every team is out to get them. It all started with Cain getting that slide into him, and from there its just escalated. And the amount of hbp the royals have gotten, I can't blame them for being as heated as they are. Ventura needs to save that steam for the pitching though, and as far as I heard from that brawl his teammates told him 'hey man, you gotta stop, ur gonna get one of us hurt', hopefully he learns.
