Trout has also been healthy in all 4 of those seasons. This is the first time Harper’s been healthy since his age-19 season wiped the floor with Trout’s. Trout is a year older as well. It's certainly possible Bryce will be on his level at some point.

LOL WHAT?? Trout won Rookie of the Year over Harper and almost MVP ...Harper didn't wipe the floor with Trout

2012 when Harper was 19 he played 139 games hitting 22 HR with a .270 BA
2012 when Trout was 20 he played 139 games as well...hitting 30 HR and a .326 BA


If you're comparing when Trout was 19 against when Harper was 19 that's ridiculous. Harper was on a s-----y team so he got to start early. Trout was on a decent team and they saved him for the following year so he barely played any games

Sorry I was comparing when they were both 19, but Trout only played 40 games in 2011 so I guess it doesn't hold much weight, I take that part back.

Yall are r-----ed.
1. Trout and Harper both won ROY since they arent in the same league, but Trout had played the year before and hit .150 before being sent down.
2. Trout didnt get "saved". He was called up and sent back down because be played awfully.
3. Harper is better than Trout.

Yeah d-ck bag I meant he would've beat him with the numbers he put up if you compare side by side. He only played 40 games and hit .220 when he was 19. He was on a better team with better competition. To say Harper is equal to Trout is idiotic. Injuries aside look at the numbers, Trouts arm, Trouts defense. Way better. Can Harper put up the numbers he's doing now all season?? It's too early to tell

Youre actually so dumb dude i cant discuss this with you. Trout can s--- as a 19 year old because he face "better competition"? They both play in the MLB. Trout does not have a better arm than harper. Harper has a phenomenal and trout has a bad one.

he had more competition on starting for the Angels than Harper did starting on the s-----y Nationals team back then. I feel like I'm talking to a mentally handicap person....he didn't even have his first at bat for the Angels until around All Star break genius. There's no comparing 19 vs 19 year old because they didn't play the same amount of games. But you can compare first full year for both of them where Trout was clearly better and has been since.
