Cespedes value continuing to plummet. Horrible loss. Mets really had a great opportunity here to tie the series and hopefully win tomorrow. Now Royals have the momentum. Too many f---ing mistakes and Cespedes and Murphy made them. I don't ever want to see Clippard's face ever again. Cespedes needs to stop playing golf. Seems like when the Knicks win, the Mets have lost. I don't know what to expect tomorrow. The Mets have a good shot with Harvey but KC have the momentum and never give up. Mets are still trying to win with their pitching, it's not enough without the hits and defense.

it's errors that killed them. Mostly Cespedes with his drop leading to the in the park home run the first game and getting caught not getting back to 1st tonight. I have a lot of Mets fan friends who have been talking him up as if he's the greatest player ever going into the postseason. Hes just had a great 2nd half of the year

I knew that even during his run, that wasn't as good as he truly was. That one month was him playing way over what he actually was. And the rest of the team benefited from that

Harvey had a great game all things considered. He kept it close which is the best you can hope for against KC. Hope the Mets find a way to win it in the 9th. They don't have the advantage in extra innings. We need a solo shot to end this s--- tonight.

He will go to the highest bidder. Guy is a 20-25 HR/Mid .700 OPS guy who doesn't walk. This was a contract year, so we saw his best. He gets paid and he goes back to being the player he was or slightly worse.

I wish the Sox kept him, but he's not gonna be worth the money he gets.

This sucks, really at least wanted a game 6 but it's not looking likely at all..Royals are gonna get at least 1 here, maybe more.

Cespedes injury, Murphy error, Royals coming back. This is a tired song. The way that the Mets are hitting, 1 run is all the Royals need especially with Davis on the mound. They couldn't even get a cheap solo homer to just put it away. It's over.

EDIT: As I was typing this, KC went up 4-2.

Congrats to the Royals and their fans. They played exceptionally well. This wasn't the Mets year. Their World Series performance was beyond pathetic. Having said that, they still exceeded expectations by even making it this far. Nobody thought they'd even finish 1st in the East. "There's always next year".
