Indians are supposed to be the best team in the AL now after the deadline, and the twins just smoked em twice somehow lol.

Also oddly enough, the twins have the top 2 HR hitters in the league since June 19th, Kepler with 14 and Dozier with 13. No one else has more than 10 during that time.

A lot more negatives this year than positives though, the biggest negative is Byron Buxton looks like he might be a total bust and can't hit for s---..He's a good fielder and fast, but hasn't improved hitting at all. He's always hovering right around the .200 mark, kinda pathetic..Sano is kinda a mixed bag, so yeah the twins top 2 prospects aren't really turning out as expected so far, especially Byron.

They interviewed him at the end of the game. He said he had just hit a home run and to let a ball get away that bad was very suspicious, which it was. He said even if it wasn't on purpose, talking s--- was warranted. He just had surgery on that knee. If you can't throw a ball get out of the game. Robles on the other hand was a complete idiot. Tex got in his head so bad :'(

Yeah, I saw the post game interview. If Robles made that pitch, I definitely would have said that it was on purpose. That dude has a temper but it just got away from Matz. Dude's command was off all night.

Disappointed that the Mets didn't take 3 out of 4 in this Subway Series. Glad to see Bartolo pitching well and Jay Bruce contributing in a huge way with that 3 run shot.

With all of these injuries (Harvey, Cabrera, Lagares, Reyes, Cespedes, Duda, Wright), I don't see this team getting into the postseason. Nats are playing well and the Mets are barely holding on. Hopefully things turn around but that's how it's looking right now.

This is the time of the year when baseball starts to get really exciting. Which sucks for me because the Sox are garbage, but whatever.

At the end of the day, despite Tex's injuries i still wish the Sox would have signed him. Because something tells me they wouldn't have traded Anthony Rizzo away and he would have taken his job in 2013 after he got hurt.

Sox would have a super-juggernaut offense if it played out that way lol

Even with his injuries and his age he's still a sick defensive 1st basemen. Def not worth that contract, but he had a lot of great early seasons. Will be nice to see a no name team next year. I'm pretty sure how they're treating Arod right now they're trying to force him to retire as well so they don't have to pay him next year. Will be interesting to see if he'll ride the bench for a season and a half....

Going to the Nats game tomorrow. First time at Nationals park. Will be nice to see a winning team again

retires only a handful of home runs before 700 too. just got to think how incredibly hard that feat really is with or without roids. Sad to see Arod going out like this by playing worse then a 7th grader but hey time to move on to better things.

Found out about A-Rod retiring while waiting in line at the Citi Field Mets team store. Yanks did him dirty not letting him get 700.

He's not retiring. They're basically releasing him after Friday and then he's going to stay on as a "special advisor" Through next year. They're basically keeping him on so he can still get paid and not mope on the bench for a season and half because he's not playing

Went to the Nats game last night

Yankees should at least let him play these last games, saw he's not in the lineup today.
