Sucks starting the season on the road against the NL because we dont get to see Napoli in that 6 hole. When Victorino inevitably gets hurt and Castillo gets into this line up its gonna be scary. Swihart could also be up in May or June as well, making it even better.

Unfortunately the starting pitching is still trash and the bullpen isnt much better with Koji old and fragile.

Switching to the Yankees game during breaks, are they really gonna keep this strike zone thing on the screen the whole time? I don't like it..

Yep on ESPN and yeah it's weird and not even accurate half the time lol. d---, hope this isn't on all the national broadcasts for baseball.

The Outfield issue is a good one to have in some ways. I mean theres nobody who has close to the depth they have with Castillo, Craig, Nava, Bradley and Holt. Someone will come knocking when they have a big OF injury. The only place they really didnt have a replacement for an injury is catcher and of course Vazquez got hurt. But Swihart will probably be up some time in June if Hanigan doesnt work out.

The rotation is a big problem though, still think Porcello will have a very good season and hope Buchholz can rebound/stay on the field.

yeah, I mean it's a good problem to have -- but how are gonna send Castillo to the minors? Just seems like an odd approach when they could eventually shop one of them for pitching. Curious

Nah Craig i dont think has ever caught. Napoli used to but the Sox are more looking for a defensive game-caller behind the plate as they have one of the best line ups in baseball. They sent Castillo to the minors because he is the only Sox outfielder who still has options. Id be shocked if he isnt up by the end of April.

Yankees are already down 5-0 in the 3rd inning... Gonna be a LONG year for Yankees fans I think. It's weird af not seeing Jeter out there right now. As much as I hate the Yankees, that sucks to see.
