BJ Penn is hurt and out of his Main Event fight in Manila on October 15th against Ricardo Lamas.

That one hurts, that card was a--- to begin with and BJ was the only one on that card with a name.

Yea he was pulled from 197 due to the UFC him being investigated for some type of criminal allegations and then he was pulled from 199 for that whole IV thing.

Sad, always rooted for him after his GF died in that Car accident and then reading his stuff on Bloody Elbow.

Will always remember his KO of Eddie Gordon in his first fight back after she passed.



Lot of deaths in MMA this year. Kimbo, Jordan Parsons, Ryan Jimmo and now Samman.

Figured that was gonna happen in Toronto, doesn't seem like the GSP negotiations are going so good.

Wonder what the hold up is with the Cruz's fight being announced. Might be whether or not Ronda comes back December 30th or SB Weekend. Think if she comes back SB weekend they will have Cruz vs TJ/Cody at 207, but if Ronda's on the card then i could see Cruz defending on the December 17th Sacramento FOX card since Team Alpha Fail is based in SAC.

Kinda wish they saved Rumble vs D.C. for 207 but if GSP ain't coming back in time I guess they didn't have much of a choice. Don't think they have any other match ups that could realistically headline a PPV and not flop at the moment.
