UFC's Anaheim card moved to August, UFC 209 in Brooklyn is now UFC 208

Was dumb to think they could do a PPV January 21st, Fox show January 28th, another PPV February 11th and then another PPV March 4th when they stacked November/December with Title Fights. Even that February 4th fight night i assume that will be one of their big FS1 shows they do 1st quarter (a la McGregor/Siver & Cruz/Dillashaw), since its in Houston the night before the Superbowl.

TUF 7 vet Gerald Harris returned last night with an awesome slam



Harris' opponent came in 50 LBS heavy, blaming it on a back injury.

Cobb notified the promotion he would not be able to make welterweight in the days before the fight. After weighing in more than 220 pounds, he was told to check in at 205 the morning of the fight to make it a light-heavyweight affair. Instead, Cobb was the same weight on fight day. Harris chugged water to boost his own weight to 208 pounds, and the fight went ahead at heavyweight.

Anyways, very similar to his slam of Dave Branch on the Prelims of the Lesnar/Carwin card.



This was the last Legacy FC show. Resurrection Fighting Alliance has one more show next Friday and then the two promotions will merge into Legacy Fighting Alliance and their first show will be January 13th on AXS TV. Think they're planning on running 20 something shows in 2017.

23 years old from Mexico very well rounded and has already beaten another very good prospect in Mizuki Inoue (who lost a SD to Karolina). She looked very good in the 1st round of her debut, but then seemed to have an adrenaline dump mixed with Mexico City altitude and kind of cruised the last 2 rounds.

She should smoke Felice and be fighting top 10 opponents next.

So there's a new MMA promotion launched recently in my country "Bahrain" called Brave Combat Federation. The first edition was held back on September 23rd & we just held the second edition on Friday and it was broadcasted internationally. I was a volunteer there. The third one will be held in Brazil as it's going to be global thing. We got professional fighters from all over the world coming, along with the officials. Anyway one of the fighters that took part in the second edition is a 20 years old, now with the record of 18-0-0, a Brazilian called Alex "Leko" Da Silva. He is quite impressive. He is something special. Check him up. Remember his name.

UFC needs to learn how to give fighters tune up fights. Happy KZ is back, but d--- give him a tune up. On the flip side if he beats Bermudez he's back in the FW mix.

Conor supposedly taking 10 months off according to Dana, which would mean he comes back in September. Probably good news for Khabib because if he beats Ferguson and Conor came back in May/June it would interfere with Ramadan (Khabib will not fight during or even in the month or so after it).

Jessica Andrade (#5 WSW) will fight Invicta WSW Champ Angela Hill at UFC 207. It was announced that Andrade was going to fight Maryna Moroz (#10 WSW) Monday but then she pulled out with an injury less then 24 hours later.

Either way it probably pushes Joanna''s title defense back to April or so since Andrade is the only one who makes sense for her next.

This is legit lol

Not to be that guy who says so after the fight but I did see Elliot potentially giving DJ issues with chokes on the ground... Not because DJ is susceptible... Elliot is just good at getting guys in chokes. That fight he had with Shelton on TUF was tough/frustrating to watch. Shelton got caught in like 100 guillotines (obviously it also had a lot to do with Shelton's defense as well). Out of all the other guys on TUF... He's probably the one I have the most hope for tho. Nice wrestling base and athletic. Only 25. Seems to be really driven. I think and hope he'll beat Pantoja.
