Spot on with that comment, want more $$, fight more and speak a little english, get people hyped about your fight.

Most of these guys are like "I do my talking in the cage" or some bs like that.

Chael got it right, people always want to see a good fight, you just need to let them know when and where.

Get on the f---in mic and just say "I'm gonna kick so n so's a--- at UFC ### on [insert date here]!"

Thats it, do that and you will get at least one more person to buy the PPV.

If you are the champ its even easier, just say "I'm the best in the world, come get some b----"

All this being said I love Aldo and would gladly pay for his fights, but myself (like most of us here) am not a casual.

Just watching Countdown to UFC 183 I got a kick out of Gastelum wearing a Luke Barnatt shirt, dunno why, just odd to see.

Anyways Corey Anderson vs Gian Villante added to UFC on Fox 15. Anderson is probably the only prospect the division has right now that i could potentially see being top 10 eventually, still super raw but he only has 5 pro fights. Juliana Pena is also returning and on that Virgina FN card against Milana Dudieva. If you remember she was the one that tore everything in here knee and was supposed to be out 2 years but made a quick recovery. I remember Dana shat on her whole team for their training methods and told her she should leave that gym.

Also Gustafsson vs Rumble did a peak of 3.65 million, that show and the McGregor show both did great numbers. Will be interesting to see what kind of numbers 183 does, my guess is around 600K.

Anyways Former WEC BW Champ Brian Bowles arrested on Drug and Weapons charges.


Former WEC bantamweight champion Brian Bowles was arrested earlier this month and remains incarcerated in Arcade, GA on six felony counts, including possession of methamphetamine and possession with intent to sell.

Bowles, 34, was arrested on Jan. 14 alongside Rhomney Moon, 35, by representatives of the Jackson County Sheriff's Office, according to a Facebook statement issued by the department.

"The Sheriff's Office responded to Bowles' residence on Stoner Road in Arcade, Georgia in an attempt to serve an arrest warrant on a wanted female possibly at this location," the statement read. "This particular female was not located, however Investigators found Moon and discovered she did have an outstanding Probation Warrant. After a search of the immediate area Investigators found a quantity of methamphetamine. A Search Warrant was executed at the residence and a quantity of marijuana, other narcotics, a gun and numerous packaging materials were also located within the home."

Bowles and Moon were both arrested and taken to the Jackson County Sheriff's Office.

Both individuals are being charged with the following six felony counts: possession of methamphetamine, possession of a schedule IV drug, possession of schedule IV drug with intent to sell, possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to sell, possession of tools for the commission of a crime, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.

Arrest records indicate that the schedule IV drug in question was diazepam, and that Bowles presently remains incarcerated at the Jackson County Sheriff's Office. Bowles has three prior arrests on his record.

An accomplished mixed martial artist, Bowles (10-3) rose to the pinnacle of the sport when he dethroned longtime WEC bantamweight champion Miguel Torres in 2009, claiming the strap as his own with a stunning first-round knockout.

Bowles subsequently lost the title to Dominick Cruz after suffering a broken hand in his first title defense, then never again regained his previous form, compiling a 2-2 record inside the UFC.

Bowles tested positive for elevated levels of testosterone in his final UFC appearance -- a TKO loss to George Roop in May 2013 -- drawing a nine-month suspension and $5,700 fine from the Nevada Athletic Commission. Bowles' testosterone-to-epitestosterone ratio was tested at over 20:1, well above the NAC legal limit of 6:1.

As expected the UFC is looking to do Bones/Rumble in May at UFC 187. I just wonder what they have planned next if Jones wins. I guess it has to be Cormier vs Gustafsson for a title shot.

Ovince St. Preux vs Patrick Cummins added to UFC on Fox 15. Division is so thin with fresh contenders that this could be a big fight in the division. OSP's loss to Bader is still pretty fresh so a Cummins win would probably be better, especially considering the DC loss was on like 5 days notice or w/e it was.

Sure thats fine but dont complain you're not getting paid the big bucks if your PPV's aren't doing numbers because you're not bringing in the UFC money. Aldo just doesnt say anything and a lot of his fights are boring where he just cruises, takes a guy like Mendes to get him to say anything. If Aldo isnt gonna bring anything outside of his fighting then hes gonna need to get back to fighting like he did in his WEC days.

I agree that i dont want to see any fake a--- s--- like Lamas is bringing because that s--- is embarrassing. To me it doesnt matter if Aldo is a draw but if he wants to get paid hes gotta do something.

That s--- Lamas is doing is lame. Just be yourself, work at your public speaking. You don't have to act like anyone but yourself. Maybe come with an analytical angle like Melendez did after his loss to Pettis. He gave an excellent break down of what he did wrong, and showed he is an intelligent fighter. Or like Rumble did after his last fight. Rumble was so humble in victory; wished the champ well and came off as a good dude (despite the domestic violence charges).

So I was listening to Rogan's podcast and he said that the UFC and Everlast have partnered up and they will be using the new mma glove they developed and Bellator used last season. Luke Thomas has said the same thing, but Rogan confirms it. Bellator is using a different glove now (although its still an everlast glove).

Hopefully we'll see less eye pokes now.

Silva didn't win all 5 rounds. Kinda bs. Could gone either way imo cause you never know a bout judges but slight advantage to Silva regardless I guess.
