Could see it being a Co Main if it was the MSG card in November, otherwise its a stand alone Main Event. With Conor inactive Jones/DC is probably the only other PPV that will do decent numbers, the rest of the champs will have trouble drawing 300K buys. Cyborg might be a draw be that's yet to be seen.

Also Bisping knows he'll get wrecked by 1-6 in the MW rankings, thats why he fought Hendo and wanted the big money fight in GSP.

Yea but Brooks had beaten the better competition coming in and was calling out guys as well, maybe not as aggressively as Gaethje.


Anyways this new Series on Fight Pass is a great idea. I'm not a TUF hater (despite this season being poor) because its been churning out great talent for a long time. But i think this could be how they move on from TUF. They've already stopped doing the regional seasons of the show.

A new vehicle is headed to UFC’s Fight Pass.

During Friday’s Summer Kickoff press conference from Dallas, the UFC announced that it will unveil Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender series beginning on July 11.

The show will be a live experience, in search for rising talent in the MMA ranks, as well as bring back veterans looking for a second chance. Each episode will feature five live fights.

“This sport continues to get bigger all over the world, and the more fights we can put on, the more talent we can find, the better the events will be for the fans,” UFC president Dana White stated in the official press release. “I love looking for up-and-coming talent. This show’s going to give us another opportunity to bring in young fighters who we think have potential to make it in the UFC or maybe even one day become world champions.

“It’ll also give some fighters who might be in a slump or on their way out of the organization an opportunity for that last shot. I truly can’t watch enough fights and I think our fans will love this new Fight Pass show.”

White will work in conjunction with matchmakers Sean Shelby and Mick Maynard, and the show will be taped live before a “closed studio audience” from the UFC’s hub city of Las Vegas.

The series will spotlight male and female fighters in all weight classes. Unlike with The Ultimate Fighter franchise, which treats competition as exhibitions, Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series will be overseen as pro bouts by the Nevada Athletic Commission (NAC) and count towards each fighters official record.

Yea Luke Thomas made some great points. The UFC didn't really have an avenue to get prospects with no MMA experience fights (for the most part) and those guys were getting swooped up by Bellator. Now they can fight on these cards.



Anyways lot of MMA on this weekend outside of the UFC.

Titan FC on Fight Pass. Shorty Torres is one of the best FLW prospects out there, hes the current FLW champ but hes moving up to 135 for this fight. Should be in the UFC with a win.



LFA is crowing its inaugural WW champ on AXS TV at 9 ET

Invicta FC on Saturday on Fight Pass as well



Also all the major Russian Organizations have shows on Saturday afternoon. EFN, Akhmat, EFN and ACB. Albert Tumenov is fighting in ACB.
