They've confirmed they want to bring Jones in for questioning. He's currently still on the 187 card, and the officer denied the report of drugs

I think the question now isnt if Jones is gonna be pulled from the fight, but if he is gonna be stripped of his title.

He'd be stripped because a warrant is being put out for his arrest on felony charges and he's facing up to 3 years jail time

If it was Thiago Silva he would have been cut 12 hours ago.

I mean this dude is in hiding right now and is about to be charged with a felony, probably driving under the influence again.

Jail time seems more probable every second he stays in hiding. Id be shocked if an interim belt doesnt come into play. Whether he is stripped if this is all true, isnt a crazy question at all really.

If they do strip him, it won't be until he has been tried and sentenced.

It would be stupid to act too quickly. Jones is innocent until proven guilty.

If he does receive jail time, and its a short sentence I would not strip him.

Did the boxing organizations strip Floyd of all of his titles for his domestic abuse charges and jail time? no.

My guess is that if he cannot fight, then it will be DC vs Rumble for an Interim Belt.

They're obviously not gonna react quickly in terms of stripping him. Not sure how many strikes the guy gets though, this is his 3rd.

And Floyd and boxing arent comparable. Floyd basically runs that whole show over there.

And again how many times have we seen the UFC just up and cut guys straight up for less? honestly dont think them stripping him is that out of the question. The more he sits and hides the more blatantly guilty he looks. I mean is there one person who really believes this guy is innocent? nah he was probably all coked up or drunk again and hit a pregnant lady. If he wasnt then why would he run? No sympathy from me.

I will save judgement until we hear the full story.

Kenny said on FS1 that they should strip him if the allegations are true. I'm glad that he said that, it gives him and their show some legitimacy.

If what happened is true, I do not think stripping him is out of the question. Its just if he is going to lose the title I want somebody to actually beat him.

I guess JBJ beat himself?

Overall, dude just makes stupid poor decisions.
