Yeah I guess that'd be kinda weird but I think it'd be pretty popular still. Wish they went with Holm/Tate again instead, I'm not even that excited about Diaz/McGregor 2 for some reason. I'm sure it'll be good though.

I'm curious how the card will play out. If you have 2 title fights on it and McGregor/Diaz then McGregor Diaz 2 will have to Co main or Main. The title fights are 5 rounds automatically.... no one wants a 3 round fight for Diaz or McGregor.

As big of a fan I am of Conor I don't care much for it either. I always kind of think of Conor as an underdog but I don't think he's a good fit for WW. He's got to be more patient in his offense and more efficient like he says. At the same time Diaz is tough as nails, has great cardio, does those peppering shots that can break you down. I don't think anyone's ever broken Diaz, I mean Thompson got a TKO or whatever but that didn't break Diaz.

Aljamain Sterling vs Bryan Caraway added to UFC FN 88 on May 29th.



Surprised its on this card considering its more relevant to the BW title picture then Almeida/Garbrandt, which is the main event.

Gotta think one of these guys is insurance for if Cruz or Faber pulls out of their June 4th fight.

This is definitely a dangerous fight for Connor but who knows? The last guy that he was super focused on dismantling somebody, by the time they clashed Connor knocked them out in 13 seconds. Not saying that will happen this time around but it's also a factor worth considering. Diaz wins regardless of how the fight goes, it's Connor whose putting it all on the line with the rematch and how that impacts Connor will be interesting to see from this point forward (till 200 at least)

Olympian Henry Cejudo?



Thats now 3 of the last 4 Mighty Mouse fights where the main event fell through and his fight had to main event. 186 was supposed to be Dillashaw/Barao 2 and 178 was supposed Jones/Gus 2, Gus pulled out and got replaced by DC and then Jones got hurt. Im not even sure that it really benefits him, I think he sees PPV points and his PPV buys are atrocious. Its sad but I dont think Fox wants him headlining either, which sucks because thats the best platform for him to fight on imo.

191:DJ/Dodson 2-115K buys
186:DJ/Horiguchi-125K buys
178:DJ/Cariaso-205K buys(McGregor/Poirier on the card)

I think if this PPV does another horrid number you gotta stick him on free tv, even if that means FS1 and not FOX.

Don't get me wrong, I'm sure he's legit but when you're in a division of child sized adults it's kinda hard to take it serious as a main event of a PPV.

If they don't find a replacement for DC / assuming Jones is willing to accept a last minute fill in I don't see it doing well. It's a shame too but DJ simply isn't a needle mover that can successfully headline a pay per view. He's somebody that can Co-main event one if the main event doesn't fall through but can't be trusted to fill in if it does.

I hope they can figure something out so he doesn't end up getting stuck on FS1 or Fox cards.

Better then nothing. Rumble Johnson probably has to take another fight now. Before DC got hurt it made sense for him to wait for the winner. Glover(if he beats Rashad) is the only fight that makes sense, unless he wants to take a HW fight.
