Nick wont beat Anderson and we probably wont see him fight again. As for Anderson/Weidman 3 i dont want to see it, because if he loses he basically has to retire. He should fight guys like Bisping or Mousasi. I want to see as many Anderson Silva fights as i can. Plus Jacare and Rockhold already both deserve title shots. Jacare is fighting on the same card as Weidman, if he wins he should fight him next and then Rockhold/Machida gets the winner of that at the end of the year. Im ok with the UFC skipping over the more deserving guy for a title shot in the Frankie/Conor case, but not in the Rory/Hendricks case(which they might be stepping back from after fan back lash) and definitely not if they give Anderson a shot after beating a WW who is on a 2 fight losing streak.

Ooooh boy only 5 more months guys!!!

Reminds me of when Aldo beat Frankie in February of 2013 and then Pettis called him out and they went ahead and booked that fight...for AUGUST

From what i hear he is healthy now but the UFC feels obligated to give that fight to Mexico and that was the date they already had planned for that show.

TJ/Barao rematch and Rampage/Maldonado rumored for UFC 186 as well

Also its looking like Faber vs Assuncao II will headline the March 21st show in Brazil. That fight makes no sense with Cruz now being out, literally nobody for TJ to fight if Faber and him win those fights. With that being said Faber looked terrible against Rivera so he might not win.

Edit: Also Sam Stout vs Ross Pearson happening on the UFC 185 card and UFC on Fox 16 will be in Chicago on July 25th.

March 28th WSOF is putting on another show, headlined by Justin Gaethje vs Luis Palomino. Also on the card is a 4 man LHW tourney to crown a champ some time this summer. Thiago Silva will fight Ronny Markes and Matt Hamill will fight an opponent to be announced.

God i hope Silva vs Hamill dont meet in the finals because their last fight on the Shields/Maia FN was one of the worst fights ive seen, cant imagine 5 rounds of that.

Ya it was a weird fight, from the point taken to Pitbull kneeing Straus in the balls and following up with big shots. Pitbull is gonna be doing rematches forever in that promotion. Just fought Curran and Straus, Karakhanyan is another rematch and he will probably fight Curran for the 3rd time if he beats Daniel Weichel in February. Plus Straus wont be too far from another title shot considering how close that fight was.

Bubba Jenkins was out for like 5-6 seconds last night before Herb Dean figured it out.

I was impressed by Straus' boxing.

Karakhanyan's sub was scary...

That fight was too much too soon for Bubba, he still has the wrestling instinct to just keep shooting for take downs.

I think if Bubba kept the fight standing he would have found more success.
