Bellator going to Isreal on November 10th for Koreshkov/Lima 2. Hopefully this one lives up to the expectations the first fight had. I think Lima approaches it differently this time and keeps the fight standing. Leaning towards him in the 2nd fight.

edit: Also seems like Cerrone vs Lawler is basically set

Anybody else confident that Robbie is past it? Cerrone wilts in the big fights, but Robbie has been through war after war and just got slept after looking almost sickly at weigh ins. He's the type of guy who could go win/loss/win/loss and be a company guy forever so that's good. I just don't see him ever being at the top again.

Really hoping Joanna-KK has a spot on 205. Still luke warm on the idea of Alvarez-McGregor after the Nate detour. Just seems like favoritism to give Alvarez that payday when he hasn't defended yet. McGregor can sell against anybody so it's not like they need Eddie.

Apparently Cris Cyborg is gonna be done trying to make the cut to 140 LBS after this next fight. She's tripping if she thinks the UFC is bringing in a 145 LB female division, division makes HW look like its LW/WW.

2 pretty big hits to the Portland card, Brian Ortega out of fight against Hacran Dias and Bobby Green out against Josh Burkman. Also Ruslan Magomedov has an infection and is out of fight against Stefan Struve.

This whole 19 events in 20 weeks thing could back fire if we see the injury bug hit again, they've been lucky for the most part this year.

Also I guess Shane Carwin is somehow a Free Agent. Assume he goes to Bellator and fights a couple cans or enters the RIZIN Open weight Grand Prix.

No clue what welterweight could/will step in with all of the questions about who Woodley will defend against, Condit's career, Hendricks' life, Larkins' contract... Reason says Wonderboy gets the shot and that Maia could step in given how short his last fight was, but the UFC is too smart to book that given its likely outcome. No clue if he can drop to 155 soon enough to fight Khabib or something and that booking would probably turn out the same way as putting hm against Maia. Hopefully they sort it out and release the full card soon.

Only reasonable thing left to do now is have Cowboy v Woodley for the title at 205.

On a serious note though, I'm going in full denial mode until the UFC confirms that Robbie is 100% not fighting at 205.

Yea him and Condit are boys/teammates on top of him contemplating retirement. Probably end up being Ellenberger or they pull Kelvin from that random Masvidal fight. Hopefully he doesn't take a LW fight, don't really want to see him there again until someone knocks him off at WW.

Forgot the Jack-Wink connection. Doubt they pull Kelvin. They haven't been willing to pull guys for replacements as of late. That would blow for Ellenberger given he just got back on track. Seems like only Cerrone likes the double weightclass thing. Makes me think he still has some confidence problems to get through. His run at 170 has been stellar and the UFC would give him a title shot at WW as soon as it seems halfway reasonable.

Meh i think Cowboy fighting at LW/WW is just him leaving his options open. So we're not left scratching our heads looking for someone for him to fight (like right now). Hes been away from LW for a while and there are a lot of guys he hasn't fought, Poirier/MJ fight next week and im sure either would want a piece of Cowboy at MSG if they come out unscathed.

Also don't think he has a mental or confidence problem at all i think the cuts down to 155 hurt him a lot especially in his ability to absorb damage (specifically to the body). I don't know anyone on the roster who would literally fight anyone, anytime and at any weight. If they are looking for a relevant WW fight then they should pull Kelvin because the Masvidal fight makes no sense. The UFC could snap their fingers and front load a deal to Larkin paying him big for the Cerrone fight (and then he gets x if he wins and y if he loses), but A. Thats a dangerous fight and B. They buried that Larkin/Magny fight on Fight Pass so casuals don't even really know Lorenz.

I'm pretty sure he's been vocal about his mental toughness and has hired a sports psychologist to combat it. The Larkin fight would be great, but your point about them burying it doesn't bode well for that. If Larkin goes to Bellator, their WW division is looking pretty d--- good.

He hired a sports psychologist after the Pettis fight almost 4 years ago. Going off the Rogan podcast he seems to mentally be in a great spot. I also don't think Larkin ends up in Bellator, think it ends up being an Aljamain Sterling situation where Bellator offers him a meh 50/50 type of contract and the UFC matches it. For the record I don't think Larkin/Cowboy happens but the UFC could make it happen if they were desperate enough. But if they have McGregor on the card it will do in the 1.2-1.5 M PPV range no matter who is on the card, so they could really put him against anyone.

Good fight although I kinda wish they would have held Jacare out and gave him a title shot in January/February. Timing-wise its probably a lock that Weidman/Romero winner gets a title shot.

Exciting prospect. Snyder is a stud and only 20 years old. Hopefully he goes to AKA where he'll fit right in.
