Awesome. Guys been fighting forever and is still only 26, crazy his first fight pro was against Rory Mac when he was just 16 (Rory was 17). Anyways thought he was handling Thiago Alves in his last fight before the body kick. You could make the argument that without GSP hes the MMA torch carrier for Canada.

There were very few options out there at WW and 205 is the type of card you pull guys out of other fights to spruce up. Masvidal fight never really made sense, was just another showcase for Kelvin in Mexico City but that card is good enough imo for a FN show.

Sounds like Werdum/Velasquez 2 will go down at UFC 207 on December 30th. Would have preferred Cain get the Title Shot but Stipe wants a little break so w/e he probably earned it fighting 3 times in 9 months

Forgot to mention Liz Carmouche (#9 WBW) vs Katlyn Chookagian (#14 WBW) is also on the UFC 205 card. Kind of a joke they have Liz ranked that high, most ppl had her losing her last fight to Lauren Murphy. Kat should beat her and knock her down a few pegs though.



I guess the UFC granted him his release, shocking since he will do big numbers for Bellator. I would call it even (not really) if Bellator lets Minakov sign with the UFC, although hes been rumored to be coming to the UFC soon anyways. I don't think Chael would have ever made it in the USADA era with the UFC, but still shocking.

the Bad Guy is back! and I'm more shocked he went to Bellator than the UFC releasing him. But as y'all have noted, no way he makes it in the USADA era, plus loss of sponsors hurts his $$$

Bet they make the Wanderlei fight first, or maybe a tune up, then the Axe Murderer
