Being alive during this era is wild to remember. This dude was literally everywhere. You really couldn’t escape Eminem. He was all over the radio, all over mtv, occasionally on the news, and all over all the magazines and national enquirers and s--- like that at every cash register and magazine isle. s--- was wild now that I’m thinking back to that time.
I still remember the first time the radio ever played the real slim shady. It was like a month or two before the album release date. They hyped it up all day and waited until all the kids were out of school and then they finally played it at 3pm. I couldn’t find it online anywhere. I always wondered if it ever leaked before it’s official release date because I didn’t hear it until that day. That was the very first time I ever heard the song. -

It’s aged terribly imo. Hoping for a cassette tape though. Maybe even a MMLP themed fidget to capture the nostalgia from that time period. -

I think i have mentioned it before but a short documentary or maybe even a long one will come with or some sort of thing like that. When Em promoted the 2001 album anniversary last year it was with a clip when Jimmy and dre talked about mmlp and that clip wasnt showed in the 2001 video so it was probably for its own anniversary. Its his magnum opus considered by most of his fans and himself so i think he is up with smt for it. Looking forward! -
