    was just thinking this. it doesn't have the staying power. MMLP2 deluxe is like? 24 tracks? most of them are solid imo. i'm already bored with the track 5 to track 14 stretch of Revival (aside from Framed). i played Walk on Water and Untouchable a lot when they came out cause it was all we had at the time, but havent listened much since release. so, its just Believe, Chloraseptic, Framed, Offended, In Your Head, Castle and Arose. Solid EP I guess.

    I'm the opposite, i disliked a large part of MMLP2 because it was a "has-been" project and a badly executed MMLP sequel. Couple of dope songs, but also a couple of bad ones (Bad Guy/Monster/a------/Survival/Monster/Stronger than i Was) and a Love Game/Headlights are fun but they just drag ooon and oooon and those verses just never end.

    Revival is more focussed, shorter verses and less awful s--- because of it. Also more standout tracks (Believe/Framed/Offended/In Your Head/Castle/Arose) then MMLP2(Rap God/Brainless/So much Better.. Thats it i guess?).

    I respect your taste and preferences. I don't like MMLP2 on premise of being a sequel or revisiting, I just enjoy most of the songs, even the ones that don't stand out I never skip. I'd take Survival, Berzerk and a------ over Remind Me, Like Home, and Tragic Endings any day. The lyricism is dense in MMLP2 and some people fault it for being overly technical. I think its a spectacle for my ears and find it to be a positive.

    The only turds on MMLP2 for me are STIW and sort of Love Game. Then add in the deluxe tracks... man. Its just an adventure for me. Revival feels empty by comparison.

    In any case, I see your point. And I'd prooobably venture to agree that its standouts > MMLP2's standouts but enough time hasn't passed. I just feel weird that I'm already losing interest after like a week. That's never happened for an Eminem album before.

    Don't get me wrong, I really like MMLP2, but a------ is a terrible song - and compared to Like Home or Tragic Endings it's even worse!

    I think a new album will come 1st or 2nd quarter 2018 and, I think that because Paul’s moving to def jam and he’s gonna want to come out of the gate strong with them. And no other way to come out stronger than with your #1 selling artist.

    Man, just never got the hate for a------. I really like it...

    Like Home is one of my least favorite Eminem songs of all time. Its just ridiculous.

    Ahah, I just have no patriotic bones in my body. I think if the song was more anti-government and less god bless america I'd like it more.
    But I can see why people like it. I think the verses are ookaaayyy-ish but everything else just urgh idk I'd rather listen to Big Weenie for 10 hours than Like Home once xD

    I agree with you. I can't listen to Like Home, it's such a crappy song. Especially when you consider White America/Mosh s as his previous attempts..

    Also agree that MMLP2 improved by its bonus tracks but still.. It just didn't really age well to me, i listened to it constantly when it just release but i only revisit So Much Better/Brainless now. Getting through Love Game/Headlights/Legacy etc feels like a drag to me and there isn't a single song on Deja Vu/Going Through Changes/Castle/Arose level.

    Revival, for me personally, has so much to discover (honestly: i felt that way about MMLP2 at one point) and i'm starting to appreciate what he has done more and more. I dislike the stop and go flow, but it's only really present on Untouchable in a very bad way. I haven't been this in likeness (see what i did there? :emoji_wink: ) with an Eminem album since Relapse. I HATED Recovery.. this is my Recovery and to me it feels like his Revival, so the title makes sense to me.

    i think theres more music coming form em i dont think there will be another album maybe phryme 2 feat bad meets evil album i expect alot more produced songs form em then solos
