I was a coffee guy for years. Every morning before school I'd get up earlier than necessary to ensure that I'd have enough time to actually enjoy a cup of coffee. I had to cut back on the caffeine when I started trying to get my panic disorder under control. I still enjoy a cup from time to time, usually weekends when we brew a special blend, but it doesn't hit the spot like it used to. Coffee used to taste like the nectar of God to me. I miss that. RIP.
I usually spark an owl and sip on some Red Rose Orange Pekoe nowadays though.Ordinary Joel, DKC and Clive like this. - May 3, 2025

Same here, I've come to appreciate the tranquility of waking up to start the day right before the grind or before the soccer games I coach on the weekends. Since I graduated back in December I've definitely been a lot more calm & cool, haven't really stepped into the club or bar as often as before. Coffee is amazing forreal -
