Sub Zero's story is going to have the most confusion to me. I've paid attention to the comics so I get what's going on with pretty much everyone else but how the f--- could Cyber Subzero ever become human? The previous 3 robot ninjas couldn't. Maybe they kept his body intact and some magic bs happened. Or maybe he's dead and Noob=Subzero now which could be likely if Quan Chi f----- up.

I'm guessing his soul got transferred in the cyborg while his human body was just left there & got possessed by a different soul (Noobs?), which explains the undead eyes & the way he looks in that story mode snippet. I think I got too creative there lol.

After watching it again, he definitely looks like he's possessed. Either that or its actually Noob since he was the bad subzero.

EDIT: Wonder if Liu Kang or Shang Tsung make the cut. Liu Kang died again, so zombie Liu Kang would be dope, like in MK Deception.

The MK story line is altered af, people keep dying & coming back so it leads to so much confusion. Ed Boon did say "no one really dies in MK" though. From what I also remember, when someone gets killed they're sent to the Netherrealm.

The good thing about MK recently is adding horror movie icons that look like they could live in the MK world. With a tweak here and there these characters could end up in the story. Freddy could remain as a terror of nightmares, but have him live in outworld where the prays upon the fallen heroes of realms fallen by Shao Kahn as a supernatural demon not visible to the naked eye.

But, for me, the one character that would work best in an MK game is Pinhead and his Cenobites from the Hellraiser series. Imagine a MK game where a portal opens and instead of the forces of Outworld these torture loving creatures come out instead. They could even re-work the guy (forgot his name) from Hellraiser 1 that Pinhead is after to be Mortal Kombats Meat.

You are correct, it adds an additional skin for EVERY character and a selective skin for 3 characters I think. But still, 29.99? s---, break it down into 2.50 or 5 bucks per character (whatever it was for MK9).

Where did they say this? It's 25 years later, and I thought it was going to be the MK with the MOST NEW characters. Not the most characters. If that were true then they're either going to have a lot of NPC's or DLC coming for months after. If you want to get technical Armageddon had the most MK characters in it with 62... This one's going to have 28 I believe.

EDIT: The only way it would have the most would be if you broke down each characters variation as a separate character. Then you'd have 84 "characters".

EDIT: If you guys haven't noticed btw, watch the story trailer again & the gameplay one I just posted. Sindel, Kitana? & Sub-Zero have these weird looking greenish veins on their body & undead eyes. They all died in MK9 & I'm assuming someone brought them back with magical powers awakening their corpses. Could be Quan Chi? Maybe Shang Tsung or Shinnok? What if everyone that died in MK9 comes back like this? Not as a playable character though, just in the story. Jade is the first character that's been confirmed to not make the roster so far btw. I have so many theories about this & all could be wrong lol...

I'd love Shang b--- to be in it. But prob Shinnok or Quan. I didn't watch the story trailer. Got to keep that, the fatalities and brutalities as fresh as when the game comes April 14. Roster leaks I tried to stay away from but gaming sites post them front page and friends message me about them to lol.

Well remember the story starts right where MK9 left off then progresses to 25 years later. We'll be seeing a few non-playble characters who hopefully aren't characters we have to fight, because the internet will demand that they're DLC, ruining the purpose of MKX. Deception had a few of those scenarios (Shang Tsung, Johnny Cage, Jax, Sonya)
