Feb 21, 2017 I would still say he was a large influence in hip hop but not in terms of the sound or progression of the music. more-so breaking the stereotype of white rappers at the time when he came out, as well as being able to go from a guy from white kid from detroit without a penny to his name to being one of the biggest names in hip hop. his story of success was definitely influential to a wide range of artists I feel. do you disagree?
Feb 21, 2017 The strongest one there is 808s => Drake and Kanye was a stepping stone between Drake and f---ers like Akon/T-Pain/Cudi.

Feb 21, 2017 So were going to pretend that this whole forum (Studioleaks/section 80) would still exist even without Eminem lol
Feb 21, 2017 This is the kind of post I was hoping for Would like to see you elaborate on some of these sometime
Feb 21, 2017 would be happy to expand on any that people are less familiar with/have questions on i don't know how to break this to you, but: this forum's existence is not exactly a seismic shift in rap history
Feb 21, 2017 Biggie and Big Pun, feel like they influenced many rappers since regarding their flow and how the mix and match words
Feb 21, 2017 three-6 definitely. ugk less so outside of the deep south; if anything, they were adapting outside influences (early g-funk, new york rhyme structures) to their hometown.
