If you'd like to defend your pov and enlighten me as to what I'm missing I'm all ears, I rather enjoy finding out artists I dislike are actually good

clams is one of the principal producers on the vince staples album. vince found him because of lil b. i'm not saying clams owes his career to b, i'm saying he and his aesthetic are popular in the hip-hop world specifically because of b.

This whole conversation reminds me of this DEHH Lil B review. I understand Myke's position in that video, in a room where you don't know if they are just playing around or talking seriously

Lil B it's a big joke (Literally speaking) and I accept that. But we should leave the things like that, as a joke, taking it too far or seriously it's when the things are not funny anymore.

Bad Meets Evil gets WAY too much hate. I thought it was great for what it was. Only bad song was I'm On Everything.

This is over a decade ago but Snoop Dogg- Tha Last Meal. Easily the best thing he's done in his career besides Doggystyle. More recently I'd say Xzibit- Napalm.

You think that most of the fanbase that follows him don't think it's a joke? I don't know if Lil B tries to be that or he is just bad, but I don't see him being taken seriously for the most part.

I know some fans that actually listen to his music on a daily basis but I can't understand that. His music it's just horrible but the thing is that I'm not sure if he intended to make it like that or he is really trying, that's the big doubt. Like Myke said in the review, if you listen to a random record from him and you didn't know which artist made it, you would have the same perception?

lil b is almost always outrageously funny. he's not, at his core, a joke.

But funny like, I don't know, Eminem at his prime/Tyler/50 Cent, etc or just a "funny dude that makes what I think it's a parody of mainstream Hip Hop"? Maybe he is actually trying, but the whole scene behind him it's indeed a joke.
