    ...my mother didn't come from wealth, and my parents often struggled with money, but they worked hard and managed to put food on the table every night, always putting her kids first, second, and third, in front of herself. she's the most caring, selfless person I know. Happy Mother's Day.

    Mom has been dead for the past decade. I miss her. But I'm sorta glad she's gone because she was suffering a great deal before she died. Thanks for the memories Mom!

    And all my childhood memories, are full of all the sweet things she did for me.

    This will be the first Mother's Day I'll not be spending with my mum. She died 6 months ago. My dad died when I was 7 so for the last 6 months I've been on my own. I'm 22 years old and work full time so I'm a big boy and can take care of myself but the point of me posting this is to not waste the little time you may have together. Me and my mother never always seem eye to eye but she was my mother and I love her. I never told her it enough. So all of you should if you still have the chance.

    Told my mom I wouldn't be able to make it home this weekend due to work, then surprised her last night by randomly showing up with flowers and a cake. Spent the night at her house and went to church with her this morning and then went out to a steakhouse this afternoon before I headed back up to my college town for finals week

    Dont know where Id be in life without my mom, worked six days a week to help out my pops back when we were still in the Bronx. She kept food on the table and set a proper example of selflessness and being a loving person. Hope everyone has a wonderful mothers day
