    If you don't like the music you don't like the music that's completely fair, I didn't mean that everyone who didn't like the album felt that way (expanded on it a few posts later). Like I said I completely understand why it's not for everyone and I have issues with it myself.

    I do recommend giving it another listen or two however cuz some songs I thought were trash first listen grew on me.

    Youtube right now is full of stans flooding the comment section of Kendricks music. It is truly awful.

    Personally the topics are fine, I do believe he has some forced lines or moments of social commentary, but other than that I dont see it as too woke or anything

    Nah that's not what I'm saying at all. I'm saying that like most things in life, the album exists on a spectrum. It's extremely far from perfect, but the fact that a lot of people who hate the album hate it for completely opposite reasons show that valid criticisms of the album exist somewhere in the middle. Or that there are valid criticisms from both sides if you will. But blanket labeling it as either woke or offensive (or this perfect masterpiece from the other end) is lazy and without nuance. I like the album but I also have a lot of issues with it and that's ok.
