Beautiful would have fit in Recovery. And Deja Vu has the same exact singing style.

    Disorderly Progress What's cookin?

Yeah it would have. I think he partially modelled Recovery due to the positive feedback from Beautiful vs. rest of Relapse, broadly speaking

I think he even put it on there as a stylistic safety net too, in case people didn't like 'the new stuff', then he could revert.

n Deja Vu doesn't have the same singing style. I mean, he hits high notes with his range... thas about it. Beautiful got a classic rock sample, is a classic Eminem type beat, with him rapping like 2005

Deja Vu, even though introspective, sounds like the rest of Relapse - tonally, his writing. Obviously, as it was made for the album in that style. It even makes perfect sense conceptually, how he 'goes through the Relapse', has the OD / the mr mathers skit... then waked up and recounts it all and that would have been a genius ending. No need for the s--- at the end. Crack a bottle was put there cause it was a hit, only, when it leaked... Beautiful I think he put as a safety net just like how he tests styles on features before albums - and Undergound added probably just to end on a grungy thing, again doesn't sound like the rest of Relapse or the tracks on Refill which are from R2, still in that more nasally and tricky style...

Which says to me he made Underground after the Relapse material, specifically to end out that album.

If it ends at Deja Vu... I think it's his third best album, 4th at a push. And flawless to me.

Eminem himself is a kind of "liberal messenger", as I've explained in a past Captain Autistic thread.

Yet I still appreciate a lot of his old music. Way I Am, his best song imo contains explicit "liberal messages". Fight Music is one of his all time best verses. White America is top 5 on TES. I don't like Darkness because it's corny, badly executed, and boring. If Eminem had made a song like that in 2000, regardless of the overall message it almost certainly would have been interesting.

Relapse’s problem is the content or the lack of it for most of the album but… it sounds great, so… forth and last classic most likely imo
