Apr 10, 2015 Mumford & Sons: An authority on rock stardom. They honestly look like the type of people who worship Kanye.
Apr 10, 2015 Hah, so true. I think I've asked this before... do people outside the suburbs/UMC background like/listen to Kanye? What are the streets listening to these days? trap? Go go?
Apr 10, 2015 As an outsider, pretty sure inner city stuff is more regional. ATL is a powerhouse right now and their top club hits at any time are usually all ATL rappers. For every Young Thug you have a Young Dolph who's only really big in his city. He's actually one of the bigger examples probably. Meek Mill is another rapper who is absolutely huge in Philly despite not having a mainstream crossover hit in a minute. "If real n----s respect it, the squares gon' rep it" - Scarface Meanwhile, Kanye is kind of overrated when you look at his sales. He gets good reviews but J Cole outsold him. He's a bigger pop icon than musician at this point. To the average person anyway. He still doesn't hold a candle to the global presence and sales that Em had. Like, not even remotely.
