Nov 1, 2016 You're confusing my explicit telling of what I associate Cudi with and why I no longer consider his music interesting. One is a personal connection involving marijuana. The other is admitting he's always been a terrible writer and a limited singer. I mean it was innovative to have a rapper singer fringe artist around that time. Well for like a year and a half before Kanye did it bigger and better and Cudi ended up as a post-T-Pain footnote. s---, Akon too. Now that area of the music is a novelty and Cudi's stuff hasn't aged well. I think it's very fitting to pair it with formative and juvenile years or getting stoned. Past that it's not really suitable for much.
