Opinions on them?

Personally, I loathe them, and I honestly don't know how anyone can watch them without cringing literally every second through all the sing-songy bs. I'd be embarrassed to watch one with anyone else.

That Into The Woods movie I can't stop hearing about from everyone I know on facebook and irl prompted me to make this.

rocky horror picture show and grease are great and ive watched some live shows, cats is the last one i remember it was dope. also all the south park musicals, cannibal, orgazmo and troma musicals are funny.

honestly, great musical theatre is...well, great. the film/tv versions of things have been incredibly spotty lately. it was cool nbc did the sound of music, but it wasn't actually that well executed (and it's not THAT good of a show). into the woods was bad. i'm alone in loving the 2012 les mis movie. "the last five years" is an incredible, incredible show, and i think the movie was cast properly, but the trailer looks abysmal. i might not see it.

uhhhhhhhh depends on the songs (obviously)
some might have a good plot but if I dont like the songs then it definitely takes away from it. but overall Musicals would be a last resort of entertainment for me
