I played around with this beat a little and thought the bassline was a little boring so i tried to change that up.

Changed the piano but im not happy with it yet. Have to look for another piano sound. Maybe even use some rhodes instead.




Feedback for the bassline would be great

I like it, just wish it was crisper sounding. Stuff sounds slightly muddy? but it is unfinished so...

Yea not completely mixed yet.

But what do you think sounds muddy ? The bass right ?
Would be good to know so i can take care of it.

Muddy wasn't the right word, actually. It sounds more like a lot of the high end has been rolled off (like on the synths and stuff), to where it sounds duller than it should, but maybe that's just an aesthetic choice. I'm use to really crisp sounding electronic s---

Thanks i see what you mean, i actually rolled some of the highs out. I will try to fix these things when i do a final mix

I just made this beat, i wanted to make a cypher type beat so i didnt mind the melody being repetitive.
The piano is a sample and i sampled some scratched acapellas for the "hook"

I mixed it on some headphones, so it might need some re-mixing. I will do that later when i have time. I just wanted to post it.
