    I don't think he's wrong, Drake is more skilled and more comfortable on NWTS than he is Take Care.

    Take Care is indulged while NWTS is more concise, but both share similar sounds at times with NWTS going left with the southern influence when it's not building off of Take Care.

    I don't think he's saying it's the same album twice, just that Drake was better on NWTS.

    Hyphy/Bay Area rap was rly popular at my HS so people played lots of E-40, Mac Dre, Mistah FAB, Andre Nickatina, etc. lots of g-funk/chronic 2001 as well. Plus we saw wayne and kanye come up as well so the music choices were p good all things considered.

    Haven't gone through my overall thoughts yet, so I will share it in here:

    I'm kinda in between the people who thought it was just ok and the drake fans. I'd probably give it around the 7.5 mark. Ive been listening to this album a lot since it released and the only time Iistened to it in full was on my first go. There are quite a few great songs, but it's just too long, i reckon Drake redeemed himself in the second half of the album.

    Standouts for me are obviously One Dance and Controlla but I also thought Fire and Desire was great. He played it safe as expected, we aren't going to get a bad album from him but neither a classic.
