Only disappointing thing about this show is how much of Pablo's timeline they covered in the first season. I wonder if it'll go past season 2 with where they're at right now.

looking forward to this...I honestly thought they went too fast with season 1 but I guess it was to get renewed...season2 will be a drawn out story since its the chase for Pablo Escobar after he escapes prison...still should be good...wondering who they do season3 on...

they could have easily done different storylines like Lehder, Ochoa, Escobar storylines etc...Medellin Cartel and then the Cali Cartel...and made 4 or 5 season based on each member at that time...and how they controlled international market for blow...

yeah, that was really strange they ran through basically his whole life in one season. I think his story is interesting enough where they could've taken it slower and still had a hit on their hands. I have a feeling this season might s---, hopefully not.

I never knew this n----- blew up a f---in' plane for nothing. Was that based on a real event? I mean, I'm not claiming that my mother used to tell me stories about the infamous Pablo Escobar before she tucked me in every night, but if she had, the plane crash part eluded our story. He was a f---in' savage, who would do anything to get what he wanted, and had a soul dark enough to find a way to justify the awful s--- he did. These things make for great television. I watched the first season in two or three days. Probably two. I was hooked.

I recommended it to a friend of mine. He said he liked it, but he stopped watching it cause he was tired of reading subtitles. I promptly kicked in into a bonfire and watched as he screamed in agony while he burned alive. His flesh melted from the base of his skeleton like hot grease dripping from a George Foreman grill. His hair withered away into nothing but ash very quickly but the rest of the process was very drawn out. His screams sang a song of intense pain. High pitched shrieks filled the valley and echoed back as his wife looked at me, then stared at him in disbelief. Once again our eyes met, and that's when she lunged forward and we began to make out. Before I knew it, she had fallen to her knees and was sucking my d-ck with a ferocity that envied that of her husband, rolling on the ground, engulfed in flames, and helpless. Finally I came all over her face, and that's when I picked her up and choke slammed her, Kane style, into a pile of firewood. She lay on the timber, struggling to catch her breath, while my seed drizzled down her eyelids, sealing them shut, and forcing her into temporary darkness while I planned my next move.

Lmao, I didn't mean to take it that f---in' far but I been reading the Game of Thrones books, and I just wanted to see how descriptive I could be. Anyway, this show is amazing. Ready for Season 2, no doubt.

The term "narcoterrorism" was popularized by Escobar's war against the Colombian government. I knew about the plane situation but I didn't know the exact reason why he did it. Dude was a demon. There's a reason Colombians really hate the guy. Despite being dead for years, Colombians still have a hard time shaking the stereotype that they're d--- dealers or come from a land known mostly for drugs.

You can hate Pablo Escobar for blowing up a plane, sure that's ruthless...but when you have power/money/respect in this world you have a voice regardless of your ideals (he wasn't the first or the last)...there were plenty of poor people the Escobar helped that backed him up...and plenty of dirty professionals who didn't second guess where his money came from...

Corruption exists everywhere...what made Pablo Escobar more famous than other drug traffickers of that time was his ruthlessness...which made him much more feared than anyone else in Columbia...the violence is what made him public enemy #1...he would do anything and have unlimited money to fight for his rights and what he stood for...

What ISIS/Al Qaeda are doing is making them a ruthless organizations with these suicide missions killing innocent people...

I'm sure most of Columbia was against Escobar, but for him to have that much power there where plenty supporters too...Mexico is having a similar crisis at the moment too...there plenty of professionals taking cartel money and helping them out and vice versa...
