Feb 14, 2016 true, the cuts were me tryina get as many key parts of the song as possible but ill work on that. and yeah the audio has been noted lmao, guess i just need to play the song quieter and test it out first. glad u liked it besides that tho
Feb 14, 2016 for real bro but my roommates solid and he bought me lunch today to make up for his friend /shrug
Feb 14, 2016 when you turn the volume all the way up and try get your opinion across by shouting even louder. but I understand it's your first time doing this.
Feb 14, 2016 There's a lack of focus throughout the album. TLOP really is a conglomerate of fantastic songs thrown together last minute, and it shows. I enjoy getting so MUCH new music, but albums should be viewed as a holistic experience. I enjoyed your post about the real album vs. bonus tracks, but unfortunately not many people see it that way (not even Kanye). I mean, he rented out MSG and theaters all over the world to premiere the "album of the life", yet couldn't decided on a track list or album title until the day of (still hasn't). That's inexcusable as a brand. Fascinating to witness, but still. But otherwise, it's SO lit
Feb 14, 2016 i think i disagree with this but i get where your coming from but for me, so far, the album falls into real friends/wolves SO well that it doesn't haphazard to me. i think the lack of direction is in the writing, but sonically and, like, energy wise, these 13 tracks flow so well
Feb 14, 2016 i think kanye does see it that way. i didn't make up the acts breakdown, i stole that from kanye's early tracklist itself. the album is a chaotic mess within each track, but the sequencing is pretty fantastic in terms of how the moods are controlled from act to act. i had the same reaction as you, but i'm just wrapping up my 14th listen now and the structure is becoming increasingly easy to appreciate. incredible experience. i can't wait to look back at all of the 6/10 reviews that drop this week when we're a year or so deep in to this album.
