    Til The War Is Won, Nas’ most personal song ever? Seriously let’s talk about it. His side of Kelis’ domestic violence allegations, “Moms gone, pops here, wish God reversed the roles”, his take on manhood and being a parent. So many layers in this one f---ing song.

    Jay edges out Nas due to the longevity of his prime, imo. They both have really similar highs but Jay's lasts say, 7 years vs. Nas' 2 to 3.

    This entry in his discography almost definitely solidifies Nas' spot in the top ten. I'd say this is his fourth or fifth best work - which is great considering the distance from his seminal work. Life Is Good has proven to be the blueprint to the wave of reflective albums coming from some of the greatest rappers to do it. Jay did it masterfully with 4:44 and now Nas has doubled down.

    Couple listens in. I really like this. For sure better than Nasir. The Cure would be my favorite track. That second beat is haunting I love it. Spicy is great. Blue Benz, 10 point and 27 Summers all heaters. Couple mids I guess but overall this is good.

    Imo the production is nice (feels like a drake album tbh), it just feels like Nas’ pen game isn’t too hot honestly. He sounds bored but there were some real great moments imo. Blue Benz was really cool.
