    Man has been on an absolute tear since the duds The Lost Tapes 2 and Nasir. KD, KD 2 and Magic = pure fire. I don’t see why KD III won’t be either!

    Nasir was not a good album

    but I enjoyed Lost Tapes, KD 1 and 2

    and Magic was prob my fav of all of them, his rapping was great on that

    Nasir was one of Nas' worst but it's not bad overall. Sounds exactly like what it is: something slapped together during a Kanye manic episode. Lost Tapes 2 isn't as good as the first but I liked it a lot. The material he scrapped for the Kanye album was better than that project. Glad to have heard it.

    The last 2 projects have been particularly good though. An unprecidented run for someone in this position in their career. Trilogies are cursed so I'm keeping my expectations in check. Hope it's another winner.

    So no features, no weak songs and Hitboy outdid himself. Sounds like a classic Nas album on a first listen.
