I think Magic and Magic 3 are great to listen front to back. And that was just my first M3 listen.

When you put out as much heat as they have in the last 3 years, things that are still good like this are gonna be mediocre in comparison. I like this, but I need more listens.

Based On True Events pt 2
    Sitting With My Thoughts
    Never Die
    I Love This Feeling
    No Tears

    are all highlights for me

His energy has been great for this run. Hit Boi always on point. Nas working with other producers in the future is gonna feel weird at this point lmao

Nas and Premier would have been great instead of 6 Hit Boy albums

As much as I love Nas & premier together. The Nas hit boy run is nothing to sneeze at. However I think it’s time Nas went with another producer. Go find a different sound and vibe

They just over did it imo, but I’m still thankful for most of the albums lol M2 didn’t do much for me.

Yeah 6 albums in 3 years is extreme. But I rather that than to not have those albums at all. Definitely time for something different though. Different producer with a different direction. And get features that are actually good on his albums

Yeah it was not meant to speak bad of the album. Its just me not being interested in listening to 14 songs of one artist in a row

I only enjoy albums anymore that have many different styles, producers, guest artists.

But I throw all songs I like into a playlist so listen to it anyway so thats fine

Been looking forward for a Nas x Wayne collab for so long, the outro on carter iv was a missed opportunity, I love Nas verse on that one. Kinda disappointing tbh, maybe its cus i had something else in mind, hopefully it is a grower tho. Solid album not as good as the first magic which is a hard one to beat tbf, their work ethic is admirable and kind of insane

Fav tracks: Blue bentley, Sitting with my thoughts and speechless pt2

I just don’t like much music these days in general. I’ll give new albums a once over even if I don’t like a artist. Production doesn’t seem to hit like it used to. Artists don’t seem to have the heart and passion as they used to . Maybe it’s just me. Sometimes I even wonder if I just out grew hip hop. But always find myself listening to older hip hop no matter what I do.

That's one every, let's say two, two trilogies due.
Three were KD, the other three were Magic
That's a one hot album every six month average

I just couldn't imagine not listening to a full album. These guys have put a ton of work into creating what they believe to be a great body of work. I want to show my respect by listening to it how it was intended and go on that journey.

First time I listen to it in full too! But then I throw the songs I don't like away and listen to the ones I do.

Artist don't really care if we listen in full or individual tracks as long as we pay for it lmao. I get what you mean though.

It depends on the artist. Kendrick Lamar carefully crafts the album experience. Lil Baby randomly throws songs together.
