    It's funny, as even though the production has the same flavour on all 4 of the Yeezy projects, each album is going in such a different direction, so I find it hard to compare, as it's just not fair. This Nas album and the nature of it is something his catalogue needed and at least 2 of the tracks on this are some of the best in his career, which is saying a lot, considering his stretch in the game.

    When Nas spits, he does it 'off-beat' always (modern day example of this is Ab-Soul), that's Nas... his signature, the verse is the meat of the track always. So the people saying s--- like 'sounds like Nas wrote the verse first' have a totally redundant point.

    You always take a project and an artist for what it is. The verses are on point, Life Is Good was indeed slept on... but has throwaways galore and off-ball beat choices here and there, this thing is air-tight in comparison.

    I think Kids See Ghosts is great, but yeah having Push go first set a precedent that wasn't met by the two biggest artists of the rollout.

    Easily the second best put together. I'll prob still listen to this and ye more just because they're so baffling.

    From a business stand point, sure. I'm just saying it ruined the grading curve.

    Yeah, I mean it definitely turned the hype meter up with everyone expecting five albums that good (plus the whole Drake thing kept this rollout hot on everyone's minds), but I think like @Charlie Work said it set people up to be let down.
