Aug 6, 2021 This is the Em feature formula. A bad verse with a choppy flow and cringey punchlines. Followed by really fast flow at the end so people can say "well at least he has his technical ability".
Aug 6, 2021 Saturation can be great on vocals. But I don't think it works well with Eminem's voice, in excess. The distortion sort of muffles out the inflections and passion in his voice. The mixing of the vocals on Eminem Show and Encore were much better.
Aug 6, 2021 In 2 minds here... As an Eminem fan, it's very disappointing. The usual, beat-killing extended verse with very little of interest said. Familiar, corny vocabulary, no synergy with the artists he's working with, and the beat is suspiciously s---... like it's been tinkered with and made worse by Eminem himself, something he seems to do a lot. The whole song is weird, a remix/sequel to a song from a movie soundtrack. It feels like it landed on this album because of star power. But on the plus side, it's a far cry from Eminem's worst, and not really bad, just disappointing because of the potential. It's probably the weakest song on a good album, but listenable and something scratched off the collab list.
