    I have them both and 2K >>> Live

    2K's gameplay is the most realistic and it's not close. The jumpers look real, they have much better graphics, and you have more control over whoever you're controlling.

    2K has tons of problems right now, but that's every single year. The first patch always helps.

    missing wide open layups lmfaooo. i feel like they tried to make it too realistic and took the video game/arcade aspect of it away, def not as fun as last years

    but who knows, it's so different from last year that its going to take some getting used to so by the time people start doing that it could be fine

    I haven't really had issues with wide open layups, I like the fact they got rid of the layup meter. It feels a littleeeee too slow rn but I'm getting used to it. 1st patch will hopefully fix most of the issues, but I like a lot about it. Jumpers seem better, and I really love the the feel of driving to the basket with a defender on you.

    The one thing I absolutely HATE is the new shot meter, I f---ing hate it so much and it should never have been moved or we should have at least have the option to use the old one.

    I could be wrong but I read that you can change it to the old one? If I'm being honest I really don't even look at it.

    Roommates and I all pitched in for both so it was like $25 a person, definitely might play more of NBA live's career mode though because 2k's is horrendous

    yea 2k wack af u need like 200k vc just to max your player to an 85 and clothes mad expensive theyre just trying to make u buy vc so bad f--- 2k

    Just looking up on this thread to see your guys reviews. It's a d--- shame video games are going in the direction they are. I didn't buy 2k17 either becuase the whole VC thing was pissing me off. I used to love video games, but the slow draining and increasing of In-game purchases has slowly moved me away from them. I don't want to support this type of system, I guess I'd rather not play at all then. They're going to continue to do it as long as people are dumb enough to play along.

    I was excited and thought the neighborhood thing looked pretty badass, but someone saying that you can't even preview a haircut without buying it? bs. I guess I'll skip this year too.
