    I'm a month and a half older than Jahlil Okafor and I find that scary. :shoocked:

    Last couple of years have been depressing with that realisation that I will never become a professional athlete. :sad1:

    yeah me too, looked great, although he had 8 turnovers but it's his first game so... stoked for him and noel to lock down the paint this season

    Snell is a very good defender, he just had issues with consistency on offense. Derrick isn't great, but he's gotten such a bad rep for his defense that he's almost underrated on that end. In 2011, our team would get out to quick leads, and our bench mob anchored by Asik & Taj would put the clamps on teams for long stretches, so I think Noah to the bench could be a really great move. He'll still get plenty of crunch time minutes, similar to Iggy. I feel confident saying that for the most part, the potential short comings on defense will be minor compared to the improvements on offense.

    Lot of losses this year in basketball Moses Malone, Anthony Mason, Jerome Kersey, Flip, Jerry Tarkanian, Dean Smith, Dave Myers etc...

    Dude had range but you're not gonna get minutes at PG in the NBA if you can't defend a least a little bit. He'll have a nice career overseas for awhile. If the Spurs can't make something out of you, it's time to give it up on your NBA dream.

    Sullinger supposedly had some sort of weight loss intervention in the off season with his whole family lol. Didn't see much of a difference in him yesterday though.

    @Jet Jimmy went off last night, had a lot of great things to say after the game as well. As much as I hate to admit it, I think this is his team now. :lol6:
    As for Butler, he consistently has stated his desire to add leadership to his already full plate throughout training camp.

    "I have to do it," Butler said. "I think Derrick is the quiet one. Jo is the emotional one. Someone has to be that guy to be calm and lead while still producing at both ends. Easy? Probably not. But somebody has to do it. I have to do it."

    "We have a couple of guys who are quiet by nature. And nothing's wrong with that," Butler said. "Guys lead with their emotions if it's Jo, with their play if it's Derrick and Pau. Pau has won championships. But you need a guy who's going hard every night and is going to back up what he's talking about. And I definitely think it's going to be me."
