What a great game. I thought that maybe the Warriors would get blown out after watching the Cavs k--- them in the 1st quarter. They couldn't buy a bucket and were taking horrible shots on top of that. Lebron played an amazing game, just bullying everyone in the paint. Idk why they stopped going to him in overtime. Nobody else played well for them besides Bron, Kyrie, Mozgov, Thompson, and Shump. It's gonna be really tough for the Cavs to win this series. How much better can Lebron really play? The Warriors had an awful start too, and they were still able to take everything Lebron was doing and win the game. If Kyrie is out the rest of the series, the Cavs may not win a game.

It's funny that one of the reasons Lebron left Miami because Wade couldn't stay healthy, but now he's in Cleveland and half his team can't stay healthy.

Agree with that big time. At a certain point, you gotta mix up his looks. That was clearly the Warriors gameplan to let Lebron go off and not double or help much. Blatt needs to do a better job of getting Lebron in better position to score instead of just having him back down Iggy from the 3-point line.

That was probably a minor reason, if that. We all know why he decided to go back to Cleveland

i missed all of game 1, but i saw that last shot lebron took on the highlights and i'm surprised he took that shot rather than driving to the basket but maybe the lane was clogged or something....i don't know

but yeah, lebron should have made a better decision on that last play before overtime, he deserves criticism for that

He hit a similar shot to beat my Bulls in the 2nd round. He was killing it in the paint all night. He shot 6-10 from the line, so maybe he didn't think he could knock down the FTs if he got fouled?

Guys like Kobe, MJ, Durant, Bron usually take that kinda shot instead of driving at the end of games to win it from what I've seen. I assume it's cuz it's kinda risky to drive into the lane in those situations cuz you could easily have a big man block your shot since everyone will be protecting the paint area, he probably felt at least he'd get a chance from the outside. Then again he could have also gotten fouled and only needed to make 1 FT, hard to say what he should have done.

I think he deserves more criticism for disappearing in OT than the last shot tbh. Cavs had no offense in the 4th besides Bron, so obviously if they were gonna have a chance in OT, it would have had to be Bron too. But instead he got passive, had a couple TOs and once he finally started shooting when the game was basically over, he couldn't hit a shot (not counting the pointless basket with 10 secs left when the game was decided.)

Kyrie been injury prone since Duke and Kevin Love has missed significant time in pretty much every season he's been in the league. But the way Lebron's contract is set up, he can jet whenever he wants. I think he will stay long term, but the question is who will be the #3 going forward. I mean Kevin Love will probably opt in because he stands to make more money next off-season, but I don't think there is a chance he is back after that.

Lebron still winning even when he loses. Apparently Rihanna was screaming his name in the player's tunnel after the game lol.

Kyrie Irving out for the rest of the Finals. Has a fractured left kneecap and will undergo surgery.

d---. Kyrie seems like a good dude, I feel bad. He tried to tough it out probably at management and his teams request. Need to listen to your body though. Hopefully he can come back from this. He's been injured quite a bit in his career and he's only 3-4 years in. The finals is most likely over now. They have no other PGs on the roster, so it's just that much more added to Lebrons plate. I'm sure we'll still get some great performances out of him , but I don't see how they can overcome this.

Smh.... Such a shame. This would have been a great finals match up if both teams were healthy now I really can't see any way the Cavs win this. Might as well give the trophy to the Warriors now tbh

Warriors need to take advantage and keep their foot on the gas.

Anyone think this might end up in a sweep now? Or you still think Cavs can get a game or 2?

I think Lebron can you win you at least 1. Maybe game 3 or 4 in CLE?

Well here's an opportunity for Lebron to surpass MJ, Kobe or anybody for that matter.

I don't think the Cavs will really play much worse without Kyrie, others will pick up the scoring load and they've played some of their best ball in the playoffs without him, then again that was in the east. But the Warriors played below average in game 1 and Bron did more than usual, so I don't know if game 2's gonna be quite as close unless someone like JR Smith gets hot.

Matthew Dellavedova told me he missed last call for the #Cavaliers bus last night & they left without him. Took an Uber back to the hotel.

Weren't the Cavs pretending they've been so united or whatever this year? Lol, doesn't seem like it.

Hard to like LeBron listening to the way he talks about himself, he gets more conceited and King Joffrey-esque every season
