Sixers got a couple of more Rookies that can be alright. Wood and Holmes need to take their opportunities now before Covington and Landry recover from injury.

No I wanted Russell at least right before the draft, don't remember what I thought before that. I was definitely happy when they got Russell.

*edit* Pretty sure I wanted Towns over Okafor anyways, don't think I ever wanted Okafor. Towns was my hope earlier on, but Lakers needed a PG more, it was the right choice.

Pretty sure you were talking about an Okafor/Randle Lakers front court for years to come.

He's going too. He still thinks he's Kobe, top 10 player in the league. Good for Philly I guess...

i thought they looked good when he was contributing to the offense by passing and making plays for others instead of freezing the motion and jacking up fadeaway midrange J's.... ik that's kinda his game but he doesn't have a complete AWFUL supporting cast this season.

    No Greek Freak tho...

I am starting to wonder if Greg Monroe is some type of cancer. I mean on paper that Detroit team should have been better then they were last year. This year the Bucks and Pistons more or less swap Ilyasova and Monroe and now Detroit is the team who looks improved and the Bucks seem to have gone backwards.

To be fair KCP seems to have taken a big step for Detroit and again no Giannis for the Bucks last night.

Yeah I expect us to be better but in the end I wouldn't be surprised if they fail to reach expectations just because they're the bucks.

Chad Warden As Ballin As Possible

    Oct 29, 2015

Confident Rubio reminds Chad Daddy of 2007 Tony Parker. Either he's been going hard this off season or a K.G speech changed his life.

Chad Warden was iffy on Kobe's performance, his shooting was off, but when he scored he looked like he hasn't missed a beat.

He missed his last 8 shots so his percentage was fine before that if that's your concern. But either way the way he's playing in this offense is a total disaster if it keeps up. Byron Scott's also an awful coach, he had Russell turned into a spot up shooter last night even though he was running the offense in preseason and that's what he's used to. It also helps Kobe if someone else brings the ball up.

Most Laker fans absolutely can't stand Byron right now, his rotations lost that game last night.

Gonna be interesting to see how Jahlil goes against Gobert now. Two upcoming centres!

He's awful. I like the guy, but his rotations and schemes just can't get it done. I love Kobe so will catch any Lakers games I can, and I couldn't for the life of me figure out why he had Russell playing off the ball. The guy is a beast with the ball in his hands and is clearly at his best when it is, why change that for game 1 of the season? He's not very good at handling his minutes or rotations either, left the bench in too long, let Kobe cool off for too long, and didn't play Russell much in the 3rd/4th. I have a feeling Thibs will get the job next year.

He had Ryan Kelly in there for about 9 minutes in the 4th and another 5 minutes or so in the 3rd after not playing at all in the 1st half, Ryan Kelly also f---in sucks and probably shouldn't even be on the team. Then he also had Brandon Bass in at center playing with Marcelo even though Bass s----d at center during the preseason and Marcelo played great with Tarik Black who is an actual center lol.

There's just so many easy logical changes to the rotation and Byron seems to always strike out on that.

Yeah I think he should have kept Jabari Brown as well. Idk why Jimmy Buss insists are hiring retreads who have proven over time they're not capable of winning and/or devolving players. Thibs isn't perfect either, but he helped change the culture for us in Chicago and was great at getting the best out of his players.

Bad %, but not like he was the only star to s---t poorly in game 1. PG was 4/17, Harden 6/21, KD 6/19, Lillard 8/21. He played great in the 1st half, but they lost the lead and Byron left him on the bench way too long.
