I don't even think he left Kobe on the bench too long necessarily since Kobe has a minutes limit and they're sticking to it(although I hear that means he's not gonna play in an overtime game if/when that happens which is VERY stupid and hard to believe), but there's no reason Byron should have left that awful lineup out there for so long that couldn't score at all. Then he didn't even use a timeout when the Wolves went on a big rally down 15 that all of a sudden changed to up 2 by the time Kobe and others got back in there. If Kobe wasn't gonna be in there fine but Clarkson or Russell or someone who could score should have been in there.

I'm gonna go crazy if Russell continues to be out on the floor with the ball rarely in his hands, he should be bringing it up almost every possession when he's out there. Who cares if he makes some mistakes, it's a learning process and he's young. The absolute worst thing to do is try to have him learn something new that doesn't even make any sense and that's what Scott's genius self is doing so far. Have him learn something he's not good at or familiar with, great idea Byron, why not throw him in at the center position next? Jesus...

I never understood why the Lakers never hired Ettore Messina, or Brian Shaw. h---, even Jim Cleamons would have been good.

Yeah PG is usually the toughest position for rookies to adapt to. Always thought Clarkson was more of a 2 so I really don't know wtf Byron was thinking.
Maybe Luke Walton? I know it's the Warriors, but it looks like he has decent head coaching chops. He was always a very smart player.

Was withholding judgement from the Celtics until they play the Raptors, since Philly is Philly.

They have two pretty even units.

    Smart, Bradley, Crowder, Lee, Zeller
    Thomas, Turner, Jerebko, Johnson, Sullinger

It will be much more interesting with Sunshine back from suspension tonight. I thought Sullinger might be heading out of the rotation but I forgot how good of a rebounder he could be. Zeller might be the odd guy out eventually, he got torched by Okafor in the 1st quarter and got benched for the rest of the game.

Celtics need to consolidate talent soon though, they've got too many "good" guys and no "great" guys(Smart may become one).

It also kinda sucks because Terry Rozier, RJ Hunter and Jordan Mickey looked good in the preseason but there is zero time for them to play.

I think Trader Danny will be making a bunch of moves again like he did last year.

Yeah I feel like with the Celtics & Danny it's a matter of when, not if he makes a move. He's been stockpiling assets for a few seasons, it's about time he starts to turn them into players who can help them win now. Boogie is the obvious one, but I think somebody like DeRozan could really help out. His contract would look really good after the cap increases and he'd provide reliable scoring from the wing.

Ya I don't know that Toronto would trade Derozan in-division, definitely not during the season. I've been hoping for Boogie for a while and think it's possible if the Kings collapse. Not sure how he and Stevens would mesh, but whatever.

Westbrook sends the game to OT with .7 left, almost from half court.

Alright, Oladipo beat the buzzer with a 3 to sent the game to 2OT. I haven't seen a game crazy like this since Kyrie's performance against the Spurs. That doesn't even touch this, holy s---.

As a die hard Kobe fan, he's embarrassing himself right now.

Byron's rotations are worse than last game so far, the rotation that lost the 15 point lead by themselves last game is getting heavy minutes in the 1st half today now too lol.

Really hard to be optimistic about the young guys developing or anything promising with this situation.

Ainge needs to figure it out with all these big men, unless he is waiting to capitalize on an injury in the league, I don't get it.

    The "bigs" mins last night

    Amir-19
    Lee-17
    Olynyk-17
    Zeller-16
    Sullinger-14
    Jerebko-8

I'd rather see Jordan Mickey out there then half these guys. I'd also rather see RJ Hunter then Evan Turner.

Curry had 28 in the 3rd quarter, 53 overall, god d---..

If anyone's ever gonna score 65 or 70+ again, I could certainly see it being him. When shooters like that get hot, they can put up points very quickly, just look at what Klay Thompson did last year with that absolutely ridiculous 37 points (I think?) in a quarter.

Can't really see Bron doing it, I'd say Curry, Klay, Westbrook and Durant would be the likely candidates for a 65 or 70+ point game if it were to ever happen again.
