Yeah I'm aware, hard to really compare that game to other great scoring performances though cuz 1. there's no way to re watch it and hardly any stories out there about it and 2. Wilt was taller than everyone else he played against so he often got easy baskets and put up monster scoring numbers. It's just a very different era and situation and imo it's not really fair or logical to compare it to some of the incredible scoring performances we've seen over the last 20 years.

Not to mention the pace of the game back then meant that there was more possessions per game which equaled to more shots/rebounds/assist for everyone.

Hoping the Celtics can just be competitive with the Spurs today, not confident in that though after seeing how terrible they were against Toronto.

Glad to see the Nets start 0-3, there is no chance that doesn't end up a top 10 pick at worst. The Mavs might be a little better then I thought, hoping they miss the playoffs and that ends up as a lottery pick.

Also it's way to early to consider this but the C's have Minnesota's 1st round pick(top 12 protected or turns in 16' & 17' 2nd rounders). It's unlikely but still possible they end up with 4 first rounders.

With James Young(17th overall in 14'), Terry Rozier(16th overall in 15'), RJ Hunter(28th overall in 15'), and Jordan Mickey(33rd overall in 15') not getting any minutes, not sure what they would do with all those picks.

They tried to consolidate picks in this past years draft. Celtics were trying to move up to take Winslow, Charlotte apparently turned down as many as 6 picks from the C's(all 3 picks in 15' and maybe the Dallas and Minnesota pick). But Jordan was all in on Kaminsky for some reason.

But I think they will be in better position to move up next year.

what a second half for miami last night! winslow is the real deal defensively... idk if i've ever seen a better rookie play defense the way he does. completely shut down harden.

Randle looks amazing so far this year and Russell showed improvement last night over the first couple games, no idea why Clarkson (maybe their best player right now) didn't play in the 4th quarter though lol.

I'd feel a lot better if the Lakers had a different coach, but still this team has lots of potential. I'd just like to see a few lineup changes and better defense, they fell behind about 15 points right away in each of the last 2 games. I wish Larry Nance or Tarik Black would take Ryan Kelly's minutes.

Kobe was awful again last night but seemed to calm down a bit later in the game and was making smarter plays, hopefully that can continue. At least he realizes how bad he's playing, hopefully he can adjust his game and take smarter shots like when Russell gets him good looks.

I was surprised when I saw that score. Houston has gotten blown out 3 times to start the season and Harden has looked awful.
Yeah if you're trying to comeback he needs to be out there for either Kobe or Lou. Randle is a beast, I watched some of the game yesterday and could easily see him becoming a future all star. Lakers will have a very interesting team in a few years.
