I'd do Lee and Turner. Rather hold on to Bradley because Noah would be a rental for a team that might not even make the playoffs.

Bradley, Crowder and Thomas are all on very team friendly deals, I don't want to get rid of any of them for something that doesn't help us in the future.

I'm pretty down on the Celtics right now, I kinda thought they would start off where they ended last year(not the Cavs sweep, they had the 2nd best record in the east after the ASB. But they are probably gonna lose to the Wizards Friday and they have a really tough schedule in November.

I know Stevens wouldn't do it but a tank would be the best thing for the Celtics. 3 lottery picks are 3 lottery picks, whether it's a down year or not. The Nets pick could be top 5 and the Mavs could be around 10-14.

The Celtics won 3 more games then the Heat last year and got swept out of the playoffs. Miami ended up with Justise Winslow and we got Terry Rozier(who I actually like but still), pointless.

I'm gonna be on the tank/win fence all year, I can tell.

Agree 100% and if they had got Phil, there's also no way they're fighting for the 8th seed at that point which is the whole reason he was playing 40+ min a night anyways (actually he was playing every minute of every game the last couple before he got hurt, ridiculous...)

Jim Buss' decisions in recent years have definitely set Kobe and the Lakers as a whole back, luckily I think I heard Jeanie Buss say this is gonna be his last year if he doesn't turn things around. At this point I have mixed feelings about the season but I know the smart long term thing to do would just be to lose a lot and give the young guys lots of minutes, that way the players can develop and also Scott and Jim Buss will eventually be gone too. So that seems like best case scenario but I'm such a Kobe stan that I sort of want them to play decent at times this year too since I really feel this is his last year...Ugh, decisions.

Welp Celtics came to play tonight, despite not having Smart. Up 72-49 on the Wizards at half...

Russell has looked great today so what does Byron do? He sits him for a quarter and a half, doesn't bring him back in until 3:30 left in the 4th, what a joke.

Lakers probably gonna hang on, much better bench lineups today by Byron though, I'll give him credit for that. Smart to get Nance, Metta and Black in there, the defense looks a lot better from that group.

redsoxx, do you guys have the nets pick or something? I know Boston's got a lot of extra picks and you seem fairly excited so just wondering.

lol Sarcasm? Celtics have their pick this year, right to swap in 17' and their pick in 18' all unprotected. They also have the Mavs pick next year(top 8 protected), which looks like it could be lottery as well.

^Didn't remember the specifics of the celtics picks, just knew they had a bunch of them. But yeah, nets fans gotta be depressed, they have no hope for anything really in the next few years lol, free agency I guess but what are the chances they actually get a big name? Can't see it happening. Sounds like they got the worst of the 2 picks in the 17 draft and no 1st rounders besides that, so yeah they're in trouble.

At least they're out of the Joe Johnson contract after this season.

Nets will be a bottom 5 team this year and there is a huge jump in the cap again next year. Everybody is gonna have money to spend and nobody is gonna want to go play for a team that has no future.

It's gonna be a top 5 pick in 16' and then 2 more lottery picks in 17' and 18'.

Danny killed it with that trade and the Rondo trade(Crowder, Dallas pick in 16(top 8 protected) and T-Wolves pick in 16(top 12 protected or it turns in 2-2nd rounders)
