Have been looking into this for the past 30 minutes or so...

I think there needs to be something done about the marijuana violations being broken in pro sports. MLB is the closest to getting it right I think. (You just have to pay a fine each time you're busted)

Al Jefferson was apparently already busted twice for this. First offence meant he had to go to counseling and the second one meant a fine and more counseling. Why the f--- does someone need counseling for smoking pot lol. The third offence is what got him suspended now. I understand that a rule is a rule, but I think Adam Silver and the league should look into changing the punishment for situations like this.

Well, it really depends. I smoke weed regularly, I could play basketball after smoking a joint, but if I was a person who didn't smoke regularly, and I smoked a joint, it might have a negative effect, lol.

Yeah it stays in your system, that's true....I don't know what to think. An NBA player should be able to smoke in his spare time, IMO.

I smoked pretty often (recently took a break for about a week so far) and hoop about 3-4 times a week. There's times I blaze before and times I don't. It affects you a bit in terms of catching your 1st wind but after that I'm good. I doubt that's what he's doing but you never know. Big Al is one of the laziest defenders in the NBA.

@redsoxx How you feel about the match up tonight? Wouldn't be surprised if it's a sloppy game since you guys got the Warriors up next and we have the Clippers at home tomorrow. I got the Bulls since they decide to actually play 4 quarters against good teams.

Hard to say with the Celtics, they are so hot and cold. 11 of their 12 wins are by double digits, but occasionally they will s--- the bed and not show up. With the Warriors on deck they could either put more importance on this one or look ahead to that game.

The East is crazy right now, their is a game and a half that separates the 2 seed from the 10 seed. I'm just hoping we can stay on the bubble until Smart gets back, whenever that is(hopefully before the end of the year).

IT and Bradley are gonna get their points but if Crowder is hitting his shots(and he has been lately), then you will probably be in trouble.

Last time the C's were on national tv they s--- the bed against the Hawks(after beating them the week before). Hoping that doesn't happen again.

I'm going out to dinner and probably won't be back until an hour into he game, so I'm just gonna DVR it and watch from the beginning when I get home.

Maybe a little. Hoiberg wants to move towards that GS style of ball and that's all well and good, but that's not who these guys are. Pau is a mummy on defense who looks dreadful when his jumper isn't falling, Niko is probably worse on D and seems like his confidence is dropping. This team is full of grinders, we're very similar to Memphis IMO. I don't mind Fred instilling his philosphies, but he's gotta adjust to the personel. The starters should be Rose, JB, Doug, Taj, and Noah. I know it's only a 5 point loss to a very good team, but they have had a pattern of these types of games dating back to last season. It seems like with Pau and Niko in the game together we lack that killer instinct to be able to attack teams on both sides of the floor.

Yeah, I think pairing Taj/Noah up in the starting line up will make the team play with more energy. Has Rose recovered from his eye injury? Like, has his play improved?

Niko could be going through the same thing Tyreke Evans went through in his second year, a sophmore slump.
