His shot has been improving, everyone sees the shooting numbers, but his overall game from facilitating to defense has been very good for the last few weeks or so. I don't know if Taj and Noah will make us title contenders but it will definitely improve our energy which is severely lacking atm.

@redsoxx if you told me IT and Bradley would play that bad I'd pick the Bulls all day. Great effort though they looked really good. Curious what you think about the Bulls, always like to hear what fans of other team think.

Horrible game. At least my boy Tyler Johnson looked great and dropped 20. He's my next jersey purchase.

I like him he's got bounce. Slowly coming to grips with the fact that last year was probably as good as it gets for D Rose, and it's not a good feeling. His career up to this point has been eerily similar to Penny's.

Yeah that was probably the best team effort considering their top scorers were a combined 10/30. Lee, Sunshine and Turner were the keys to the W coming off the bench.

I honestly haven't seen much of he Bulls this year. Seems like Jimmy Buckets is running the show. Rose seems like a shell of his former self, Noah looks in decline(the bench in general got outplayed bad but Noah had a -18 in 21 mins) and despite Gasol having a good game he seems to have lost a step as well.

I think the Bulls will be much better off when Dunleavy gets back and they can move Snell back to the bench.

Again this is just going by last night as I really haven't seen them play much.

Pretty spot on besides Noah. He's typically playing with a unit that can't score so I think that's affecting his +/- a lot. He's been playing well lately, and honestly I'd like to see him move into the starting lineup with Taj.

Starting to slowly come to the realization that Derrick will never even be close to the same. He's saying all the right things and I truly believe his heart is in the right place, but it's clear his body is betraying him. He makes a few moves a game that make you say, wow, but he can't seem to consistently do it. I think he's hurting or is sore after making those types of moves, feels it, and pulls back as to not injury himself. It's really a shame because you can tell at times how he wants to do certain things but just isn't able to. Penny spoke on him last year:
"I look at his footwork. At first he would really dig in and get his speed," Hardaway said on "The B.S. Report" with Bill Simmons. "Now it's almost like he's jogging on top of the court. He's not digging in anymore. He used to just go all out -- 100 mph. To me it's like he plays at 70, 75 now and sometimes he'll turn the jets on. It's just the pain. There's the hardest thing -- when you cannot be as athletic or perform at a level you really want to. Your mind is telling you, but your body is not allowing you."
I'm hopeful he can adjust obviously, but it's awful to watch in the meantime.

Jimmy has been speaking up a lot lately, saying things like he told Fred not to take him out of the game in the 4th because they seem to always lose leads, they need to learn how to guard in the 4th, need to bring energy etc, and I think it's all directed towards Niko. Derrick and Pau are vets, they realize they're in a slump and will respond to a challenge, but Niko has no toughness or backbone. He was gifted minutes this season that Taj probably deserved. From Jimmy's perspective, I don't think he respects that. Niko is a guy with tons of talent but no motor to be consistent on both ends. JB was basically nothing, rode the bench and Thibs tough ways and earned minutes and max deal, so I think a lot of his frustration is aimed at Niko. Pau is very close with Niko, so I feel that might be causing a bit of a divide.

I may be overreacting a bit, it's not like we're out hearing getting blown out or losing to the Sixers, but these guys need a reality check if they seriously want to be contenders.

I liked what I saw from the Celtics last night. They play as a group and seem to have completely bought into Brad's system. They're aggressive on the break and in the passing lanes. Always liked IT & Bradley's game, but Olynk surprised me last night, I just didn't think the guy had it like that. They built on their success last year and seem like a really fun team to watch. Definitely talent there to make a move since it seems like you've got one too many guys in the frontcourt & backcourt.

He is going to get through it though! Hopefully he doesn't become a Greg Oden. :hovcry:

JoJo and Jakey both gonna have amazing comebacks after breaking their navicular bones. :'(

Great win for the Bulls yesterday, neither of them played well but I'll take the ugly win all day.

Rose didn't play as much as usual in the 1st half, Hoiberg said he was tired but I think it was more of the way he's been playing. He ended up ditching the mask in the 2nd half, apparently forgot it in the locker room and he looked a lot more comfortablt. At this point it was kinda becoming a crutch for him and IMO his issues are all mental now. I just don't believe a guy who did the things he did last year all of the sudden lost it. I feel like he made a decision to play at a certain speed, and I'm not sure if it's gonna work. Either way he ended up scoring 9 in the 4th, because that is what he does.

Great game between the Celtics/Warriors, saw the 2nd half and the OTs. Warriors up 3 with about 13 secs left in the 2nd OT, they play again tomorrow so even if they hold on tonight, they'll be exhausted tomorrow in Milwaukee. Hopefully for their sake Klay's back tomorrow.

For the Lakers game, Kobe started 4/4 and had some great D on Leonard, Lakers looked great to start the game but they're playing the Spurs so obviously that won't last forever lol.
