No one wanted to give up enough for Dwight since itd just be a half season rental, Dwight wants to be a free agent in the offseason and wasn't willing to opt into his deal for next year. Teams probably figured it wasn't worth it.

Shoutout D Rose for being the only one to show up tonight with an efficient 28 points. Don't think anybody else is even in double digits.

Idk about you guys but I see value in just letting the guy expire and gaining cap space in the off season. Its one of the reasons I didn't want the Bulls to move Gasol.

Yeah definitely. On another note though d--- I'm sick of Pau being in trade rumors every single year despite playing great every single year. Ugh, feel bad for him and he deserved better from the Lakers and probably from the Bulls too.

Oh for sure. It's too bad. It's clear now that Thibs over achieved with this roster. I really don't see another above average player on the Bulls outside of Rose-Butler-Gasol. Bad gamble by the FO thinking Hoiberg alone would push them over the top. Hopefully with around 20 million in cap space next year they can finally make some improvements.

Man I finally figured out the Bulls and the Thibs/FO drama.

1. It all started with Rose's ACL tear. We had a GREAT bench that the FO broke up because we were not contending that next year. Very short sighted.
2. The firing of Ron Adams. As most of you know, Ron is now a key assistant for the Warriors. He was a close friend of Thibs and he trusted him w/ the offense. GarPax thought they could sustain the offense without him and they couldn't have been more wrong. Thibs at his heart is a defensive guy, Ron was able to balance that out.
3. Thibs & Ron Adams begged the front office to draft Draymond Green. Instead we got Jeff Teague's little brother.
4. Again, Thibs asked the FO to draft Gorgui Dieng, who was hoping to become a Bull. FO declined and drafted the corpse of Tony Snell.

This is when Thibs realized how inept these f---ing morons were. All they had to do was provide him with guys who fit his system. He knew all along Snell/Mirotic/McDermott couldn't play. Fact is the FO sold the fans a bill of goods when they were the ones in the wrong. On top of that the Kings were ready to do a dumb trade and GarPax were too dumb to accept.

Sad to say but none of this matters because Reinsdorf is too concerned about the Sox. Losing fans/revenue is the only thing that will force him to make changes which I don't see happening anytime soon.

Edit: I'm sorry forgot to add the fact that we drafted Doug f---ing McDermott #11 in a trade for what turned out to be 5 draft picks, over Zach Lavine.

Going to the Warriors/Blazers game tonight, Portland's been playing well and it wouldn't surprise me if the Warriors are a little rusty to start since it's the first game after the all star break so I think it may be close for a half or so, maybe even longer. Should be a fun game, hope the Warriors win just cuz I enjoy watching them make history and going after the record.

Lillard seems to always play well whenever I go to a game, hoping Klay and Curry put on a show too.

f--- yeah great win over the Raptors, thats 7 in a row against them. Doug had a career high 30 and Rose scored 26 on 12/20 shooting hitting dagger after dagger in the 4th.

Wow @ the game I just saw. Jesus, crazy s--- by Lillard and the Blazers. He got 51, Warriors were way too sloppy in the 3rd and lost the game. 1st half especially was amazing, Curry made some awesome plays too.

Draymond had way too many TOs.

Now I'm heading home and gonna watch the Lakers game, managed to avoid the result.
