To sum up Philly's season, this has been the most exciting thing since the post All-Star break, a 9 min video of Embiid warming up:

If anyone is actually gonna watch this, the most interesting part is around 6:30 when he starts hitting 3's. Not perfect, but not bad from the big guy!

Personally as a person in SoCal I'm happy for this. Very.

Of course, as a person just learning the NBA; I have to support my home team so... Go Lakers.

    ^hhhhhhhhhhhhawwwwkward

Good win for the C's tonight, 14 in a row at home. Memphis was ripe for the picking though with injuries and the fact that they played last night.

Shame on us for not posting a single thing from this classic match-up last night.

So assuming this guy is ready for next season, who's the odd big man out? Him, Noel, or Jah?

I watched the whole game super late after work last night, was just about to post about it now actually. Did you end up watching man? Yeah it was great, Kobe and Lebron both did real nice, Kobe seems to do a lot better when he takes a game or 2 off before, probably has his legs under him I'd assume. Kobe had a lot of nice vintage plays last night and played an efficient game too. 26 points on 11-16, d---. Definitely one of his better games of the season, very good to see.

Russell continues to impress as well, Kobe and D'angelo both doing good+the Lakers losing=good results all around lol. :emoji_thumbsup:

Yeah I had a game at 9 so I recorded it and watched the entire thing. The result must have been a dream scenario for you and other Lakers fans. It's getting closer and closer to the end man, honestly hard to believe.

@redsoxx what's up with James Young? Not good enough/ready, or just not enough spots in the rotation?

Jahlil Okafor out for the season with a torn meniscus. Philly is a mess. God bless whoever has to go there in this years draft.

Little bit of both. Evan Turner & Marcus Smart both come off the bench playing 27 MPG and then IT and Bradley play 5 or 6 mpg more then that. In the month when Marcus Smart was out RJ Hunter and James Young got solid minutes, but RJ definitely got the better of them imo. If the 16' draft was tomorrow(pre lotto) the C's would be picking at # 4, 16, 24, 31, 35, 45, 52 & 58. I figure if they dangle #'s 16, 24, 31, 35 and throw in James Young they can maybe move up to around the #10 area. They have far too many picks and young guys to not make some type of move like that.

As far as the Rookies go for the C's(Hunter, Mickey & Rozier), ive been the most impressed by Jordan Mickey. Before the season started he signed the richest contract for a rookie second-round pick in NBA history(4 years, $5 million). Hes a great shot blocker, averaged 3.4 BPG in his 2 years at LSU and 4.4 so far this season in the D-League. Hes not the biggest guy(barely 6'8") but he makes up for it with his 7'2" wingspan.

    This was Wednesday night.

Oh and this was the nasty block he had earlier this year.

    Anywayss...welcome to March fellas

Jah I reckon. Might have to trade one of them although I can see Embiid taking it slow and with small roles playing off the bench for a while.

Good results for the C's draft picks the last couple nights. Philly beat the Nets, T-Wolves beat OKC and now the Pacers hand the Mavs their 5th straight loss and looks like they may miss the playoffs and have to give up a lotto pick on top of Crowder for a couple months of Rondo lol.

Probably the best way to build his value up as well. Can't believe he's never played in a game.

Jae Crowder gonna miss a couple weeks with a high ankle sprain. This is where not upgrading from Jonas Jerebko costs the C's the 3 seed.

Happened to turn the suns/wolves game on with 4 seconds left and saw that crazy game winner, awesome shot and glad the Suns won. Hopefully now they should be far enough ahead of the Lakers to not catch them. They still have 2 big games vs. them left, Lakes need to at best split them but hopefully lose both, that'd wrap it up for sure.

Finishing 2nd worst is best they can hope for of course, d--- Sixers are always too good at this tanking s---.

Yeah Hornets have played well but I'd rather see them over Miami or Atlanta.

In other news the Bulls beat the Raptors for the 9th straight time, without Rose, Gasol, and Dunleavy. I honestly think we might sweep if we meet them in the playoffs.
